All the pics I’m uploading these days are older stuff.

Some I published already at DA, before they kicked me out. Others I never published before, because they were steppingstones in the process of making the pics I published and again others I just didn’t consider to be good enough.

I have about 100 of these old images. Writing a story to each one is just too much work to do.

Once I made an illustrated story and published it as the ‘Story of Anne’. A second story got stuck in the middle of the first chapter. Writing a good story is just an art in its own way. I think that I’m just not good enough. Also, I think that the story must lead the way and the illustrations must follow.

Anyway: Some months ago, I got the wild idea to create an illustrated story around the Spanish Inquisition and a young woman who gets caught up by the insane bureaucratic proceedings of this institution.

Ever since I saw ‘Goya’s Ghosts’, I can’t get the picture off my mind anymore, how Inés follows naively the summon by the Inquisition Court as if she would go to a job interview.
I already made a couple pics for the scenery of the Court. They are not perfect yet, but I want to show them anyway. I attached them here, to give you an idea about the scenery I have in mind.

As I said above: My problem is that I’m not such a good writer and storyteller. So, if someone feels inspired to contribute a good story that could be published here on CF, I would like to talk about. However, I’m not so much in for graphical pornography or insane and unrealistic violence. The level I like is not too much off from what is depicted in Goya’s Ghosts or movies like ‘The Mark of The Devil’.

So, if someone would like to follow me along these lines, I would be glad to start a ‘Joint Venture’.

I'm doing two similar projects right now, with other members on CF. Therefore, I think that in late summer we could start with this project.
Hi Friend! It's been awhile since you're active again, and glad that you've posting on CF since I checked your DA has been closed. I'm looking forward to see your latest project in here. I'm still eager and waiting for your previous project "The Young Maid" and believe it would be great story like Anne, and seems this is the second story that you stuck in the middle? Hopefully you can finished this and other projects as well.

From Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coven_(2020_film)

‚In 1609 in the Basque Country a group of five young women are captured and arrested as main suspects of witchcraft, as they celebrated a party in the woods. Judge Rostegui, given the task of purifying the region by the King, arrests the girls and accuses them of witchcraft. He decides to do whatever it takes to make them confess, and to tell him what they know about the akelarre, a ceremony with magical connotations, during which the Devil is said to initiate his servants and mate with them.’
Even though they deny it, and there is no evidence against them, they are arrested and tortured in order to force them to sign a written confession.

After another of their friends is arrested, one of the girls, Ana, confesses to be a witch, claiming she cast a spell on the rest of her sisters and friends…

All I have seen so far from the 2020 movie ‘Coven’ (aka ‘Akelarre’) are trailers. It’s a great plot, which could have made for a even greater inquisition story. But I think the movie is not really going down this road.
So, here is my imagination of what happens to the women/girls after their arrest.

Well they should have let you write the script and direct the film. It would have been a classic!

I love the tableau, there's so much going on, and the victims look to be so exhausted and agonised. I hope they've persuaded these girls to name lots of their co-witches so they have a good supply of fresh suspects as these won't last too much longer.

Thanks so much.:)

Superb idea, I saw the movie too, sure some scenes were missing, show us what happened really !!!

I'll take the liberty to upload in this thread some all my old inquistion and dungeon stuff. Some have been published at another place before, some I've never published. I have to warn you, there is a lot of old stuff! If you think that I'm highjacking this thread, or that my images don't fit in here, please feel free to tell me so.
Of course I'm familiar with your work, but I'm still very happy you publish it here! I wished I could make such impressive work myself.
