I included the 22 women from the similar thread for females in my count. Men only (60) would give a shorter stretch of Via Appia, so far.
Recalling that spartacus' army also had women in its ranks.

But several options are possible of course, including men only.

My experience is that you could never prognoses what females do. Probably they call for equal rights and begin to crucify themselves. Or as it is when they search for a future husband, they will only crucify 20 year old millionaires looking like Brad Pitt.

I guess crucifixion is intended to be the ultimate in prolonged agony and public humiliation.

1. A. I guess. If it leads to injury or blood loss that speeds up the crucifixion then maybe it could even be viewed as a good thing.
2. C. I wouldn't choose to take Viagra for that purpose. But maybe there's a scenario where the guards force it. Maybe there's a scenario where a pretty local prostitute is given a few coins to try to bring on an erection from a man on a cross. Most embarrassing of all would be a scenario where a man is aroused by the process and can't hide that from view -- that would surely bring extra laughter and mockery from the crowd.
3. B. Being in public is part of the penalty I guess. It would be more intense if the crowd felt hostile (not sympathetic) to the condemned -- they might be happy and pleased to see the suffering, and happy to jeer at the condemned.
