One Britain told me once, it existed for trying to kill a Royal, or an attack on Her Magesties shipyards.....that was back in 1974 maybe? What form would execution be, if it ever happened in Britain? (Curious mind wishes to learn?)
 
Further enquiry tells me I'm out of date. The death penalty for treason was finally rescinded in 1998.

William Joyce, "Lord Haw-Haw", was hanged in 1946, the last execution for Treason.

Theodore Schurch was hanged the following day for (military) Treachery, a different offence.
 
When Eul said she was having company this weekend they didn't know they would be 'hanging out' with Tree...
