It was unusual for first time offenders, and particularly those who had committed "white collar crime", to be sent to the Hardtime Prison for Women Dana Madsen, however, was an exception to the rule, Judge Matthews had made a point that the Dana should serve her ten years there. Whether or not the fact that she had embezzled large amounts from the Company which administered his Pension contributed to his decision was a moot point.
To compound Dana`s problems, Warden Stryker also had investments in the same Company and when the arrogant ex accountant was fractious and uncooperative during her intake and strip search, Stryker decided to begin as she intended to carry on and kill two birds with one stone.
