The first picture (the drawing) is my all time favorite because I've got it since a long time ago and it's still working well today.
But now we've got the 3D et Cgi. And when I take a look at the old quoom stuff, it seem so poor beside the SkatingJesus artwork (to give a exemple)
But it was another time and not the same tools. Today, a good 3D image is almost more real than the reality.
Meanwhile, it's not only the quality, the creativity must be there. I mean, the real substance. And I wait for the leonardo Vinci (or the Picasso) who will show me a naked woman hanged by the neck who will still satisfied me in twenty years (as the first picture is doing). At least the SkatingJesus hanging from "the fall" could be this one .

Well, I think it’s time to contribute at least something. Since I’m too lazy to write a story and especially make art, I‘ll at
least repost some incredible artwork I really enjoy with some commentaries why I actually enjoy it
In general, I like realistic and gritty crucifixion art. Meaning nails, sweat, blood and total nakedness. BUT I don’t like too much blood, I don’t like when victim is too heavily whipped. And I don’t like rape. Sometimes, the sedile/cornu is nice too. I also like different angles, in particular, from the back and the eye view of the victim. That being said, I may really like a pic that doesn’t have some of these qualities.
So, my most favorite artist is probably @jucundus. For his incredible realism and facial expressions of pure agony and humiliation.
In terms of realism, I also really like @jedakk work.
I like @crumera for the use of interesting angles and for ”everydayness“ of the crucifixions: when it’s not a big deal but a usual routine, it gets more terrifying.
