Hell was nothing like she expected. There she was hanging on the cross, suffering incredible pain, surrounded by brutal gargoyles and devils with whips to torment her, and the flames heated her beautiful body. Tears ran down her cheeks. She wanted to scream, but no sound came out of her throat.

Technical: It seems nobody in this forum likes hell ... My previous eerie hell scene did get the least amount of like votes of all my images. But let's try again ... if really nobody likes this style of images, I leave the eerie hell scenes alone. This image has no prior work and is entirely AI. From a base proposal that the AI made, I replaced the gargoyles with better ones, better whips, then worked on the lady for feet and arm positions, then nails and hands and finally face. From the final picture on the left, I cut out the upper body detail and let the AI refine it further, for the facial expression. Tears should be rolling down her cheeks, but, well, now they roll down the entire body. I though, ok, why not, let's leave it like that.
Here is an old leftover from my attempts to simulate this Jucundus work (@jucundus) which in turn is based on work by @Aluafaen (see my other version in https://www.cruxforums.com/xf/threads/ai-generated-pics-by-xz7.11789/post-931588).

In this version here, I was not happy with the whip marks. Can someone please teach me how to consistently do better whip marks with AI?

Tree's opinion of these two pictures...
The woman surrounded in flames... It might be happening in her mind like this but Tree suspects she would be left crucified to die from the natural tortures of the cross.
The woman on the way to her crucifixion... Tree would never give a condemned person the luxury of a loincloth. She has been to condemned to a terrible execution and any modesty offered her would be a travesty of her humiliating execution.

Besides that, Tree really likes both pictures

No idea, is this content good enough or even appropriate for this forum? Comments are welcome ....

All content is AI generated with heavy postprocessing, sometimes "inspired" by other similar pictures found on the net. I prefer a specific oil painting style, so what I post does not get too realistic, i.e. kind of artful style. Figures in the background are intentionally sketchy to focus on the main subject in foreground.

Attached are 2 first examples.

My very very first post in this forum ...

Wow, these are amazing!

"Nobody told you to stop walking!"

The whip cracked into the bare flesh. The soldiers pulled her up by her hair until she began to move again, step by step, under the incredible weight of the cross ...

Technical: These are AI-generated oil paintings where the starting point was the second picture of @Tmaster 's post https://www.cruxforums.com/xf/threads/carrying-the-cross.6713/page-65#post-931967 . This already had the association "Nobody told you to stop walking". Overall, a powerful scene! I converted the all-male scene into a variant with a female protagonist. An even older variant of the all-male scene is Gebhard Fugel's painting that was originally in St. Joseph church in Munich, painted in 1907: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Gebhard_Fugel_Kreuzweg_St_Joseph_München_3_Fall_Jesu_unter_dem_Kreuz.jpg

Note that the general composition as well as the position of the soldier with the whip and the person lifting the cross remain the same in Flugel's painting, @Tmaster's post and my own variants. I had the feeling the head of the victim gets too big due to the male-to-female conversion, so I tried a second variant where the soldier pulls her head up.

No, those gentlemen are not singing an opera! They are supposed to shout angrily ... whatever the AI thinks how angry soldiers would look like ... But if this inspires someone to write another opera plot again, that’s okay. Or tell me a better intro text (scene description text), since I am really bad at that.
It's nice to know my humor is appreciated. Here is a little more of my twisted humor.
