While researching "The Sewing Circle," the group of lesbian and bisexual Hollywood stars who partied together, discreetly, from the 1910’s to the 1950’s, I encountered this picture.

It doesn’t seem to be of anyone in the Circle I’ve ever heard of, but it seems like it should be.

Actor Tony Curtis was a member of the "Face Men of America" It was a club of male actors who were into eating pussy in the 1940s/1950s, an era when that act was not openly talked about. He did an interview about that club in GQ in the mid 1990s.

Other stories goes that some of the Face Men had to get lessons or sorts from the bi or lesbian actresses of the era. Some of those ladies who gave pointers were Sewing Circle gals.
