The one in the middle was identified as the American secret agent @Barbaria1 Moore, a liaison agent for the SIS in the French resistance. Taking her SIS code name "Agent Riesling" too literally, she forgot her limit of two glasses :doh: when during a diner in a restaurant, she tried to seduce Oberst von Loxuru in an attempt to get information from him about the positions of German troops in Normandy and betrayed herself the whereabouts of other members of the resistance group.

Yes, SIS had singled out Oberst von Loxoru as very susceptible to a well-laid “honey trap” of wine and sex. Unfortunately Special Agent Moore is said to have succumbed to the effects of alcohol far more quickly than the good Oberst, and blew her cover, as well as the identities and whereabouts of the others in her resistance cell. The only question now is whether it’s to be an execution by firing squad, guillotine or a hanging.

Condemned to death, Agent Moore will be hanged in the courtyard. The executioner doesn't have to put his drink down to hang her like he would if he has to behead her and and loud gunfire is bad for his hearing...

They were actually reprieved, if you can call it that, and all five were sent to serve in No 3 Field Brothel for other ranks.

Incidentally, Oberst Loxuru knew a camp where a certain Ilsa, nicknamed "The She-Wolf of the SS" was commander. One phone call to Berlin,and the women were underway to a place where they would get a warm welcome!:smilie-devil:
