The narrative of the story was always a little difficult to follow with episodes published out of sequence, but I think the girl in front is some kind of highly trained special agent with incredible powers of resilience to beatings and abuse and great ability at escaping from captivity. She therefore is in a situation for which she has been well trained and is reasonably at ease in spite of her peril. The girl behind however is an innocent civilian iT expert who has been caught up in something she really has no idea how to handle.
I think it's testament to the excellent image making of Sennov that you were able to work this out just from one image.
Sennov was working to create an interactive game from the storyline and images and it's a great shame that he got kicked out of DA as I would love to know how his work is progressing. Both the girls in this image suffered multiple rapes and abuse in Sennov's storylines and looked fantastic throughout.
If you search the forums for (Anatoly) Sennov, you'll find lots of his work here, though alas no complete stories.
His heroine, in most of his thrilling tales, is the feisty Olga, she's the one in front, I think her companion is called Anna - they're lovers of a sort, though Anna gets a lot of stick from scary Olga!
