very hard to understand what you are talking about...
I would like to understand it in more detail, and I would like to try it... but since I have absolutely no chance of understanding the technical jargon you are talking about here, I have no chance...
could it be written in more detail with descriptions of what is what? and where can we get it? I would really like to try it...but I have no idea where and how I can try it...what to start with and so on, and how the programs work, and how much it costs...
If I understood correctly, the AI is still learning, and I think that daz3d will definitely be surpassed in a while, unless something changes...
Sure! I've learned quite a lot over the last few months. I don't want this thread to turn into something it wasn't intended to so please feel free to pm me with any questions.
But for the record...
AIs are being developed everywhere. Thankfully there are many that are open source projects meaning anyone can use and modify in the name of developing faster. There are all kinds of Generative AIs you can use both online and on your PC.
Midjounrey,
DALLE3, and
Stable Diffusion are some of the popular ones. Midjourney is the most advanced and can create some incredible pieces of art imo. Attached is a piece a made using Midjouney. I think it is far more original and needs far less guidance then other less mature models. however, most models have very strict content filters that keep you from creating all the fun stuff. That's where Stable Diffusion comes in. It runs on your PC so you can generate explicit content to your heart's content.
There are a few parts of a generative AI program.
- The underlying model (SDXL)
- The user interface (A1111)
- and additional "plug-ins" that people are rapidly developing to mimic a style, pose, concept, or even individual. (LoRAs, ControlNets, Embeddings)
Once you have those components installed on your PC you simply input a prompt like "1girl, walking in a park, blonde hair, happy expression, sunny day" and the AI will generate an image it thinks best represents the words you have used.
I won't go into how to install SD on your PC as there are many great youtube videos that can walk you through it way better than I can.
As this is open source there are constantly new tools and toys being released literally every day.
civit.ai is a great place to find models, and plug-ins for use.
Hope this helps!
