An example of a cross walk.. After carrying her cross beam two miles through the hot, sweltering, summer night, with a tree branch inserted deeply into her pussy, Victoria is crucified. (As an addendum, I noticed years later that the stipes for this series was still erect when looking at an aerial photograph of a major central Florida expressway. You can see the stipes and its shadow in the center of the image.)

Great art, love it! Have you ever thought to do a story from condemnation, followed by whipping, carrying the cross, nailing the wrists, raping, and then nailing the feet and raising the cross? With your terrific artwork this would be the top artwork in this forum.

Well done! As you can see, her shoulders hold the beam up while she carries it. Of course she'll have a stiff neck when she get to site where she is crucified!
But don't worry, she can flex her neck and work the kinks out. Good thing they don't nail her head!!!

Look at the agony she is in! Even her escort has shed most of his clothes. It must be terribly hot but he has to get her to the site of her execution or he won't get paid. It is not easy being in charge of the condemned!!!

Agreed on the whip marks! May have to finally relent on trying to get everything done in SD/A1111 and learn PS as well.
These get more and more interesting, I know you can see imperfections, but you are really showing us what is possible with AI here, if I didn't know better I'd be asking you what book you found this illustration in!
Like Emily says, many of the imperfections can be fixed with light photomanipulation.
It is not easy being in charge of the condemned!!!
If he's had enough, I'll happily swap places with him . . . . .

I agree that #2 is better, but in this image her expression of fear anticipating the strike of the whip and the pain that it brings is realistically portrayed.

My suggestion is to enlarge the men with the whip in both the last pics (with 20-40%) and put them closer to the woman with the crossbeam.

Yes, while I love the pictures, and am in no position to advise on the processes involved in producing them, it does seem to me the man with the whip isn't quite right. He doesn't seem to me to be looking at his target, rather at the vegetation on the slope beside her. And, allowing for the perspective, he does seem a bit small. Also, he seems to be stubbing his right toes on a small rock - painful!

But really, I imagine her being named Alexandria and of Greek descent. She's heard of all the atrocities the romans inflicted during the Macedonian wars and has gotten herself into trouble more than once with the local authorities trying to exact her perceived vengeance. This time she's gone one step too far and found herself captive... or so the day dream goes.
