Carrying the Cross

Go to CruxDreams.com
This attempt is far from perfect (personally think it's worse than #2, lots of artifacts and such) but learning lots about positioning, flow, detail, etc!
Looking at this image again I'm thinking the whip guy almost looks like he's dancing.

Perhaps this is a scene from Crux: The Musical.

He is dancing and whipping a woman along who herself is screaming out song as she struggles along the road to her crucifixion. Something like you might hear in Les Mis.

She is me!

But really, I imagine her being named Alexandria and of Greek descent. She's heard of all the atrocities the romans inflicted during the Macedonian wars and has gotten herself into trouble more than once with the local authorities trying to exact her perceived vengeance. This time she's gone one step too far and found herself captive... or so the day dream goes.
Great work please keep it going. Thanks for all you do.

The title of this one suggests she is off to the slave market, but really this looks like a modern day walk to the crucifixion site, with the added torment of being dragged behind a motor vehicle.

This one is pretty but looks too easy

These two are struggling, with the wood, their wounds, the weather (hot or cold)

It helps to have a bit of muscle to easily manage all that weight.

Not sure if it was ever done as a movie. But there was a limited set of pictures,of this gorgeous woman being led to her Crucifixion... lMO,appropiately clad. ;) ;)
Sadly she didn't get Crucified....
Original poster is long long gone....

What movie is this photo from?View attachment 1506029
I think that it's not from a movie ; I think that this set was posted, in first, at "CruxFondation" and coming from some our brasilian friends when they "play" the crucifixion ...
If somebody has all the pics, it could be interesting to post them ...
