I like to see these three pictures as a set, the pretty young woman accused witch arriving at the execution site bears a resemblance to what I could believe to be her on the cross, The theme depicted is that of death and execution which I prefer to block from my mind, I prefer to see most of which I see here on Crux Forums as re-enactment models like myself, or A.I. characters. Also all picture I see on Crux Forums whether Burning, crucifixion hanging or whatever,
but what I what from them is the vulnerable feminine serene sensuous beauty, which seems to be emitted from a condemned woman portrayed in most this type of picture. They say a picture never tells lies. Maybe not the case these days with out computer software and AI, but whatever, a picture can hide the truth in so much as we only see one dimension. FabioB adds another in the description of the scene so we can imagine the smoke, the smell of the burning flesh, really setting the death scene. The hundreds of spectators depicted obviously revel in this, I image their senses as being likened to that of a Steam Railway Enthusiast breathing the smoke from a steam train as it passes, then we need to consider that our photograph also omits the audio. I understand from reading about true accounts of female execution here in UK, of girls as young as 16 that the un-godly screams from the pain were just out of this world.
One of my passions that fuels my love of this site is that I love to be able to attempt to re-enact scenes in the pictures I find here. I have only recently got interested in the subject of Burning at the Stake mainly because in the passed I could not visualise a way to portray being burnt. Crucifixion is easy I just leap up onto a cross and try to make my body look as erotic and sensual as I can, but fire and hanging for that matter is not so easy.
The picture above was the first of the three to stop me in my tracks. I have never been a great fan of cock pictures, but this one kept drawing me back.
