DeviantArt is different....

I've had an enquiry about a few who've been cancelled by DA - does anyone have news of:

Badwolf666, Fansadox, sclava?

They might even be here under different names.

I think you could send New Member ***** a message saying just what you think of DA, and recommending they come over here to the Forums! :p
As a semi-retired,old school Teddy Boy*,I always thought that "D.A." referred to the iconic men's hairstyle, the infamous " Duck's Arse"...(see pic)
Of course the ravages of time, and lack of follicles, means I no longer sport such an extravagant hairstyle.:( :BangHead::crybaby2:
Obviously I was wrong.... :( :(

Ask your parents/grandparents.....)

I used to love GallowsGirlAmy on DA, before she got canceled. Both funny and erotic. Is she on CF? She made some exquisite versions of Dolcett cartoons
Sadly she's not on here... :(
A pity ,as she did some great crux pics, plus she was a Dr Who fan...

Sclava? I think she’s here: @sclava
Thanks Monty - I had a hunch she'd come over here, hadn't got round to checking.
I think Fansadox had something to do with DoFantasy, @Damian might have news of him.

I’ve just had another one of these:

So I took @Eulalia ’s advice and posted this in their comments:

Good luck with the contest, this is a really nice artwork. DEVIANTART just asked me to welcome you to DA but I see you’ve been here a year or so anyway. I was a loyal DA member for 6 years, paid my core fees, organised contests and challenges, shared my earnings from commissions (DA took 20%) and gradually built up a following of about 4000 watchers. But despite all that, they still terminated my account without warning when someone complained that my art was too risqué. They neither consulted me, nor expressed the tiniest amount of regret. Moral of the story: DA sucks. But good luck to you, keep up the good work.
:)

I was going to continue: “… and NOW, after all that, Deviantart has the nerve to ask me to welcome new members like you, basically doing their job for them, for nothing!”

..but I didn’t want to seem too unfriendly to the artist in question, it’s not his/her fault! :p

Can I take this opportunity to thank a lot of cruxers who welcome new members on 'New Here', and often help them with queries and joining in, without needing to be nagged - we're the friendly Forums!

For years I was a member here under a different account I had dozens, not hundreds of friends and many of them were amazing artists, and yes they were 3d bdsm artists created erotica and sometimes harsher things ... but they were paying customers, many had thousands fans, and what did DA do? he banned them without warning ... and after years they found out that they were losing people - he was leaving elsewhere and thus this website was losing money ... so what did they do? they have allowed harsher content, but in order for it to be published — not for anyone to see it, you need what? Well yes! pay!

nothing against your art, it's beautiful! but I would consider the possibility of promoting it elsewhere than the DA ..

and you DA moderators should pull your heads out of your ass, and finally start thinking ..
