KRISTEN IS GETTING FLOGGED HARD! (brief story).
Kristen, 34 years old, she's a slave to the new future Empire and she's used to do inhumane and extremely hard work in the quarry, digging and holding/moving quite large stones.
Kristen has very developed and swollen muscles from the enormous effort of the very hard work she has been subjected to, but they are very very lean,
this is due to her body constitution, having a typically very thin bone structure.
Due to some disagreements and disappoints with other slaves like her and for having slapped the superintendent of the quarry/mine,
she was dragged by the soldiers before a tribunal (very similar to the court martial of the Roman legions of Ancient Rome)
where Kristen was sentenced to be flogged with 65 lashes.
Then she was taken to the flogging cell, where all the punitive floggings were performed, even at the level of capital punishment.
Yes, because if the sentence was death, the purpose of the flogging was to kill the prisoner, leading to their death due to the countless lashes inflicted,
completely tearing the flesh from the back, reaching down to the bones, therefore up to the ribs and vertebrae of the spinal column.
Fortunately for Kristen, this is not her case, because her sentence is only to punish her, but it will still be a terrible flogging, the purpose of which is to hurt a lot her terribly.
Waiting for her was the torturer, a very tall and robust man and therefore very strong, his whip lashes that he will perform on Kristen's back will be very strong!
and chains that dangled from a wooden beam so that the condemned is flogged well with his/her arms slightly raised and open.
Kristen's wrists were tied with leather cuffs attached to the chains and the executioner began to flog her.
Imagine that just at the first blow of the whip she already had a bloody cut that tore her skin! Kristen's screams were inhuman!
The aim was to break her spirit to take away her arrogance, insolence and insubordination.
The whip used by the executioner on Kristen is a rather fearsome whip, made of rope and more tapered at the end part (where the blow hit) but reinforced with hardened leather with serrated edges to create wounds in the skin.
In addition to the executioner, there is a military non-commissioned officer in the cell who acts as a scrutineer and who keeps count of the lashes inflicted,
and also a doctor to ensure that in this case Kristen does not die or her life is in danger.
65 lashes are a lot with this whip, so much so that the executioner before starting to whip her clearly tells the two men, that Kristen will not complete this number of lashes even remotely!
Here in the picture Kristen's back is already torn by the lashes, you can clearly see the whiplash just given to her and Kristen lets out a loud scream of pain, suddenly arching her back as she feels the skin on her back tearing. From the cuts there is quite a lot of blood is dripping; she has been inflicted with the 14th lash screamed by the soldier and Kristen is starting to let go, barely holding herself up, she is losing lucidity, and strength and her head is starting to spin badly... Kristen's screams are so loud and the lashes that are inflicted on her, each one, sprays away drops of sweat and blood. She tries not to lose concentration by focusing her thoughts on something else. And so Kristen has arrived at lash number 22. But it's all in vain, several times the torturer has struck inside the wounds already inflicted by the previous lashes. At number 25 the whip hits an already open wound hitting the muscle tissue under the skin and she collapses down, screaming at the top of her lungs remaining only hanging by her arms. Whiplash number 26 hits another open wound hitting the nerve endings and breaking a small vein that makes her lose a lot of blood even if it's not life threatening. Kristen, drenched in sweat and without strength, gives in, she is completely exhausted, her head rests on her shoulder on the deltoid, her fists clenched until before, now opened. Desperate, with the semi-consciousness that remains, she tries to say something, most likely asking to stop, that she can no longer bear this pain, but she is not given the time to speak because the 27th whiplash arrives and Kristen no longer screams, at first she moans and then makes short gasps with her diaphragm, her eyes roll back with the pupils that become white keeping the eyelids half closed. Kristen is about to lose consciousness and... at the 28th whiplash she collapses completely, her head from the shoulder now moves and collapses dangling from the back.
Kristen was struck 4 more times while unconscious and the doctor officially declared Kristen's flogging over. Of the 65 lashes she had been sentenced to, she managed to get to 28 (not counting the other 4 blows inflicted on her while she was unconscious).
Her back was devastated, the cuts and wounds caused by the whiplashes are well distributed on her back.
Kristen felt unspeakable and hallucinating pain, very cruel! She fainted unconscious from the unbearable pain and from the hypovolemic shock caused by the (temporary) blood loss from the nasty wounds. Long before finishing the 65 lashes she had faint in this way and if the situation then was be degenerate (she was certainly not be able to continue at this point) they must immediately stop tormenting her back, to avoid the risk of her heart stopping. There was a lot of her blood on the floor too.

It's been three months since her last severe flogging, and Kristen has very pronounced scars on her back with the skin having thickened considerably due to the scar tissue that her skin has created.
A week after her flogging, Kristen instead had very big scabs of coagulated blood inside her wounds covering the cuts that were all crisscrossed due to the way the whipping was inflicted to her.
