Oh I was born ready!!! It would of course have to happen at noon, midsummer and perhaps northern med, like Italy, in an arena where there are plenty of witnesses.

I think its the ideal place so. But too much hot in midsummer. I live in a similar area, near med. Perhaps in a forest at 2000 mts altitude
You are merely a criminal to be nailed to cross for your execution. By design you hang naked on the face of the cross. The spectators show no mercy hollering vulgar comments about your naked body spread between the spikes that hold you to the wood.
The guard who nailed you to the cross says "Don't mind the crowd. They yell that shit at everyone I've put on the cross. In a while your arms will really start to ache and your legs will get weak. The people will leave to get lunch and cool down out of the sun. But don't worry- you won't be alone. By then the bugs will have found you and will gnaw on your most private parts..."
