it also appeared in Pentcomix, I read when younger, naturally he is not that famous as the author of Druuna (Serpieri) which made IMHO better drawings.....

Yes, even on the video there were problems with this. But as Archimedes said: “Give me a lever long enough and a fulcrum on which to place it, and I shall move the world.” )

That's the most incredible alternative to a crucifixion that I have ever seen rendered, I think I might write that scenario into one of my martyrdom stories, for instance the young Christian virgin who didn't feel worthy to die like the one she worships, that request was soon fulfilled.

A really gruesome and realistic imagination how such a cruel execution on the impalement stake could have happend in medieval times - the very thick wooden stake intruding through the anus of the poor victim will cause extremely long suffering - great terrible story !
