Well, you put so much energy in replying to all, that's the least I can do. We live on feedback, you know. Those of us who 'publish' anyway. Those who are not interested in feedback they keep their work personal, much to the loss of the rest of us. :)

Now, torque has a different position and now you have an idea what to expect. Do you want to try the second one as well? They forecast a rainy weekend here and not much else to do.

Oh yes, please do. I was hoping you would consider it.

A little feedback is a very small price to pay for all the pleasure you and all the other artists give free of charge when you share your talent.
 
Oh yes, I really wish that more people gave better feedback. But honestly I’ll do anything to see more of the tortured sorceresses, and Xena and Gabby too! I love all of the nasty things you’ve done to Them. It only inspires more sick ideas in my mind to suggest.

Go ahead. Worst that can happen is me having a total dislike and reject it outright. Like skinning alive or coprophilic play.

Anyway, here's the second one, kept most of the elements from the first one, I'm not 100% happy with the facial, maybe I'll revisit it in the future or more likely not.

I think I like this one a tiny bit better than the first one. You really captured all the elements very well, and I love the facial expression. And as an unexpected bonus you did the offset suspension torture in the background too. Just perfectly lovely. ;) :clap:
You did a great job with both of these scenes, and I greatly appreciate it. Perhaps we can collaborate again in the future.

By all means. Couldn't find a proper nun prop from one of the original drawings, that's missing.

Very true...and I thought they were great. But there are sooo many variations of this device to choose from ;)

Nope but sounds intriguing ... as I said, it's a long rainy weekend here ... sometimes stuff that's 'not my kink' grew on me and enjoy repeating it, like the crosses, I've done more of them than I'd thought ... who knows, let see how they come ... anything I should know about the good traditions of carrying a cross?

…Well you have two choices. You can have them carry the whole cross or have them carrying just the cross beam. Have them followed by a guard with a whip to make sure that they match to the execution site. Everything else is up to you.

(you are all really cool for doing this… use all of those Witcher girls!! You have so many!)

How did they do it historically? It's not a field I'm expert in. In re-creations of the event I've seen Jesus is carrying the whole thing but doesn't seem very practical ...

I gave it some thought and came up with a couple of rather unusual torture scenes that still work for for me after 40 years. They are 3 illustrations from the Caravan of Cruelty book by Stanton. They do qualify as "something different" and perhaps you can do something with them. Would love to see them done in your style of imagery.
Just a suggestion though.
