I like so much the deepth of the cuts. A hellish punishment.

The investigation found that the instigators of the riot were not wearing handcuffs at the time of the incident, despite the regulation being that all prisoners are to be restrained when moving between areas. Thus they were either not handcuffed to begin with, or were released moments before the fighting began.

The guard supervising their cohort at the time was therefore implicated in the incident. Officer Stephen Y, age 24 years, was a rookie hire, only 6 months on the job, with no previous disciplinary actions on his record.

The tribunal sentenced Stephen to thirty-five lashes, and he was placed on professional probation for a period of eight weeks.

Now, that is one very well punished convict, even the most masochistic of prisoners would be foolish, indeed, to court a repetition of a flogging as severe as that.

After a coffee break, the third punishment commenced at 10:15 am.

The inmate Abby P, age 26 years, was determined to be the ringleader and instigator of the attack and subsequent riot. Her internal record indicates multiple previous minor and moderate infractions, as well as a personal history of antagonism with the targeted gang leader. Abby was known to be aggressive and hostile.

Her punishment, as decided by the tribunal: Seventy-five lashes with the harshest whip, taken on her backside from shoulders to thighs. She was stripped nude for the flogging, and will be confined to solitary for two months following any necessary medical treatment.
