Ferguson, Missouri...

Many have wondered what is going on so here is what I know...

First the Tree house is almost an hour drive from Ferguson and St. Louis is not burning...

The only known fact is a police officer shot and killed an unarmed man.

The media says there is anger in the community but Tree sees the looters not as angry but committing crimes of opportunity. If you watch the videos they are stealing booze...

There are a claimed 30 witnesses to the shooting yet not a single video.

Let the facts come out...

This Ferguson thing is really bothering me. Friends and relatives are calling asking what is going on... Basically something bad happened and a few hundred (Maybe only dozens) decided to profit from it and the press makes it a story to keep an audience.

...and I am sorry I just treaded on Admi and his wife's good day. I wish you many. When my wife felt good enough to go outside after her chemo and radiology we had a CD player on the deck. It was early spring. Harrison's 'here comes the sun' came on and the we held each other like we never had in all our years together.

That was 10 years ago...

...I will you such memories, Mr. and Mrs. Blue Nose...

night everyone...................Hope it will be a quiet night there in St Louis
read this today
ST. LOUIS • An agitated crowd of nearly 200 people gathered at the shooting scene, chanting, "Hands up, don't shoot."

Police Chief Sam Dotson walked from an sidewalk press briefing toward the crowd at midday Tuesday. As he was describing the scene, someone scolded the others, "Listen up." Another added, "Keep quiet." Dotson said a city alderman had witnessed the shooting.

Afterward, Dotson said, "I want this message to be out as quickly and truthfully as possible." The tension on the street seemed diminished.

Latest from Tree's home town. Starting with Ferguson, the suburb. The family of the slain man had an independent medical examiner perform a second autopsy on their son. His results backed up the St. Louis medical examiner's autopsy that all bullets entered from the front of the body which tends to refute the closest witness' claim that Mr. Brown was running away from the officer when he was 'gunned down in the back'. Store video shows Mr. Brown had just stolen $75 worth of cigars (that were found on his body) 10 minutes early. The police man claims he did not now the person he was stopping for walking in the middle of the street was a suspect but one can assume the suspect was not shot in the back... More facts as they unfold.

The St. Louis shooting the suspect had just robbed a convenience store. The police were there almost immediately and he was witnesses approaching the two officers who had drawn their guns and ordered him to stop. He did not and was not shot until he was at a distance that became threatening. There were more than a few witnesses including the alderwoman Admi mentioned and they back up the police...

More fact only when I have confirmed facts. This is still miles from the Tree house... no danger here...

I would like to suggest that we back away from the Ferguson thing.
This is not really the place for such matters.
I agree. We should focus on positive things like Admi and his wife having a good day.:D I'm just glad I can enjoy a danger free and somewhat privileged life that allows me to:

Though I heard about it earlier today, thanks to Admi for telling me more. Really sad and shocking news today. As professional cyclists, we all know and understand the risks that we take to pursue our dreams. When someone's dream is as cruelly taken away as her's was though, it's always a tragedy. I did not know her except for competing in some of the same cyclocross races. I do know that she was a great competitor and her presence will be missed greatly. Condolences to all.

This is my favorite one! Normal people might think she is having a horrible day, but I know she was feeling great! It's always a good day when you can play in the mud wearing your nation's colors!:D I like to think that is what she is doing now and forever.:(
