I nearly bought one of those. When I remarked on the holes in the roof, the man who was selling it said, “don’t worry, the rainwater goes out through the holes in the floor”. It was basically a colander with wheels

You should have bought it! Some of them are collector's items and are worth gold now (even with holes...). The real ones, the ones with the hood made of this kind of undulated sheet metal...

The blue bubble car was ridiculous - the only door was on the front and it had no reverse gear, so if you drove it right up to a wall you couldn't get out
