Tree is the Switzerland of Crux Forums... he remains neutral (sort of)...
Do read on...
The IMF flew in another squadron of soldiers to take control of the captured guerrilla fighters. Perhaps ‘take control’ is too kind a phrase. Having three hundred soldiers killed in the first minutes of the first wave while still in their barracks was quite an embarrassment to the IMF and revenge must be quick and harsh. Squad leaders of Anne’s army would be ‘neutralized’.

Sometimes they were eliminated in mass executions…

…or in smaller groups

Their bodies would be carted off, some still suffering their death throes, and dumped in a stream.

This was not a wise move on the IMF’s part. Sir Despard Wragg, tired of being locked up in the Abbey, invites Ulrika for an afternoon boat ride with wine and cheese served. They chat and enjoy the day as the oarsman rows them about. Ulrika looks at the water and says “What is that doing there?”

Despard looks and sees a guerrilla’s body floating face down towards the sea.

He turns to the oarsman and demands “What
is thatdoing there?”
“Sir, the IMF is trying to get rid of any evidence of an insurgency” he replies.
“Get me back to the Abbey now!” Despard thunders. He dials his cousin (power has been restored to the cell towers) and says “Robert I need see you in my office in 30 minutes!”
He makes a second call and tells whoever answers “You
will be at the abbey in 45 minutes. Do I make myself clear? …very well!!!”
“Ulrika please forgive me! I promise to make this up to you!”
“Right, and as soon as you get your slaves back I’ll be just another dame that’s a side character in a Crux Forums thread” Ulrika yawns.
Thirty minutes later Despard fills his cousin B. Robert in on what is happening. He offers his cousin a snack but he declines and says “Don’t let the little bastard know I am here” then draws a curtain to hide his presence. A quarter hour later an IMF officer is brought to Despard’s office where he finds Despard having a snack while bracketed by two of Despard’s ‘stashed’ slaves. He clicks his heels and with a salute remarkable similar to a Nazi salute says “You wished to see me.”
“I do indeed, Lieutenant Colonel George Custer.”
“Pardon my asking but the women appear to be slaves; why aren’t they in my ordered lock-down?” he asks.

“Pardon me for not giving a flying fuck about your orders. I believe we contracted the IMF to provide security to Scandals Resort to avoid such an insurgency. You failed miserably and the Dutch slave trader is demanding payment for the mercenaries he brought in while Repertor, Old Slave, and Jollyrei are threatening to sue for breach of contract because of your damn lock-down. Then I find you are slaughtering the guerrilla warriors!”
“They are insurgents with no rights under the Geneva Convention. We must eliminate them and avoid embarrassment to the IMF” Colonel Custer replies. “if word gets out…”
The curtain flies open and Sir B. Robert Wragg, the media mogul, struts up to Col. Custer and practically in his face says “I assure you word will get out if you do not stop the executions now! How many of the insurgents are still alive?”

“I believe there are 51 still… (a single gunshot is heard in the distance) …umm, there are 50 still alive” Col. Custer says.

“I would certainly hope Anne Moore is one of them” Despard says.
“She is quite alive and still in interrogation” he assures.
“She had better be” Thaddeus Hangem Tree adds “or I will sue you in the Delaware court where THT Inc. is incorporated*!”
