Scandals' Resort

I do wonder, gentlemen, if Barb is the only one who didn't read the fine print before booking in here. Did anyone even see any fine print? I mean, I've been at a few resorts before, and never had to worry about renovating the cabins after an attack.

Then our slave, who we paid for, if I recall, is locked down on some pretext. Like there's really going to be a slave revolt. Slaves love being slaves. Gives them a purpose in life. Well known fact.:D

Was that gunfire?
Many fine questions and Tree fears the Great Slave Rebellion of 2016 may have just withered before it really started.

As for gunfire your patches are safe but I suggest you insist Repertor and Old Slave pitch in and whitewash them so they match the others...

Dirty little secret uncovered here by Jolly ... THERE WAS NO FINE PRINT!!

What do you mean "slaves love being slaves?" Have you not read the historic sagas of the great slave rebellions of 2013, 2014, 2015? Have you not visited the great slave rebellion memorial at the Hill of 100, or the thrice ruined Seagrams distillery in Missouri? What kind of North Anerican are you? Don't they teach you any slave history up there in the great white north?

What about the wine cellar at Cruxton Abbey, Barb??

You needn't think I'm going to forget about that in a hurry!

Do we care?
I fear you may... without giving much away there is much skullduggery being planned by the principle partners of Scandals Resort. After all this raid to free these slaves have cost them a mightily in profits and 400 highly trained mercenaries don't come cheap!!! There is already talk of 'a major event' on a hill just outside the main resort area!!!

Holding a grudge a bit long there, aren't you, Wragg???
Nothing to worry about Jolly old chap. Just Rep & me having a game of Grand Theft Slaver to pass the time. These VR slaves are almost as good as the real thing for an old'un like me.

Any more adult morning beverage going spare?
If you think a VR slave is almost as good as the real thing you may have had enough already but you are a big boy so...
...Another round, Ulrika!!!

For our newer members Wragg still hasn't gotten over an incident from the Great Slave Rebellion of 2014!!!

...get over it, will you???

Get over it?

An 1869 Chateau Lafite straight down Barb's throat without touching the sides and he says "get over it" ?

He seems to be still upset over two years later:oops::oops::oops:

This cannot be good for the ladies as Cruxton Abbey Enterprises one of the major stakeholders of Scandals Resort (really, look at the first post of this thread!!!)...

The IMF flew in another squadron of soldiers to take control of the captured guerrilla fighters. Perhaps ‘take control’ is too kind a phrase. Having three hundred soldiers killed in the first minutes of the first wave while still in their barracks was quite an embarrassment to the IMF and revenge must be quick and harsh. Squad leaders of Anne’s army would be ‘neutralized’.

Their bodies would be carted off, some still suffering their death throes, and dumped in a stream.

fs13.jpg

This was not a wise move on the IMF’s part. Sir Despard Wragg, tired of being locked up in the Abbey, invites Ulrika for an afternoon boat ride with wine and cheese served. They chat and enjoy the day as the oarsman rows them about. Ulrika looks at the water and says “What is that doing there?”

Despard looks and sees a guerrilla’s body floating face down towards the sea.

sr 025.jpg

He turns to the oarsman and demands “What is thatdoing there?”

“Sir, the IMF is trying to get rid of any evidence of an insurgency” he replies.

“Get me back to the Abbey now!” Despard thunders. He dials his cousin (power has been restored to the cell towers) and says “Robert I need see you in my office in 30 minutes!”

He makes a second call and tells whoever answers “You will be at the abbey in 45 minutes. Do I make myself clear? …very well!!!”

“Ulrika please forgive me! I promise to make this up to you!”

“Right, and as soon as you get your slaves back I’ll be just another dame that’s a side character in a Crux Forums thread” Ulrika yawns.

Thirty minutes later Despard fills his cousin B. Robert in on what is happening. He offers his cousin a snack but he declines and says “Don’t let the little bastard know I am here” then draws a curtain to hide his presence. A quarter hour later an IMF officer is brought to Despard’s office where he finds Despard having a snack while bracketed by two of Despard’s ‘stashed’ slaves. He clicks his heels and with a salute remarkable similar to a Nazi salute says “You wished to see me.”

“I do indeed, Lieutenant Colonel George Custer.”

“Pardon my asking but the women appear to be slaves; why aren’t they in my ordered lock-down?” he asks.
wragg 004.jpg

“Pardon me for not giving a flying fuck about your orders. I believe we contracted the IMF to provide security to Scandals Resort to avoid such an insurgency. You failed miserably and the Dutch slave trader is demanding payment for the mercenaries he brought in while Repertor, Old Slave, and Jollyrei are threatening to sue for breach of contract because of your damn lock-down. Then I find you are slaughtering the guerrilla warriors!”

“They are insurgents with no rights under the Geneva Convention. We must eliminate them and avoid embarrassment to the IMF” Colonel Custer replies. “if word gets out…”

The curtain flies open and Sir B. Robert Wragg, the media mogul, struts up to Col. Custer and practically in his face says “I assure you word will get out if you do not stop the executions now! How many of the insurgents are still alive?”

wragg 001.jpg

“I believe there are 51 still… (a single gunshot is heard in the distance) …umm, there are 50 still alive” Col. Custer says.

“I would certainly hope Anne Moore is one of them” Despard says.

“She is quite alive and still in interrogation” he assures.

“She had better be” Thaddeus Hangem Tree adds “or I will sue you in the Delaware court where THT Inc. is incorporated*!”

What can I say ... that was a WOW episode ... waiting, holding my breath, to see what will happen next ... another gun shot ... ooops 49 .... wait a minute, isn't Custer in another thread? I thought Jolly was leading him and the 7th Cavalry in wild pursuit of a captured Barb, Siss, Messaline and Wragg ... so confused ... but who cares ... it's CF, and everything goes here.

What do you mean I am just reading it? Last time I checked I was up to my navel in dirt and a stone's throw from copping it. Tree fears he is in over his head. I fear for my dignity and my life.

I though I treated Barb pretty well up to now...

It does not pay to be sensitive to her desires... it is easier to shoot a rodent at 100 yards with a snub-nose .22 pistol than to understand a woman...

Thoroughly agree with the Wraggs' attitude to that idiot Custer, killing all that delectable slave-meat. Where's that sense of profitable enterprise we Europeans are always being told is now the preserve of the go-getting Americans. Let's form a new Anglo-Dutch alliance in slave-trading, after all we thought of it first in the trans-Atlantic arena. I've just registered this company in Panama.................
