Amara's fault
Taking her punishment would have been the better choice.
Instead, frightened for the pain of the whipping, she tried to run away.
She got away for a mile or two before slave-catchers caught her.
Now she is experiencing a much worse fate.
Her mind fully immersed in the agony the cruel nailsinflict.
She barely noticed the other crucifixion an hour ago, not30 feet away.
In her mind she feels all alone, abandoned by her gods and everyone else.
Judy mind:
Ow gods it hurts so much!
All thanks to that bitch Amara running away.
Crucified because master thinks I helped her.
She didn't even react when I cursed her when I passed her cross.
Gods you know I am innocent, please help me!!!

Wonderful image, but I thought the girl on the right side and up-close was Judy. Her expression goes well with screaming about how much it hurts. She looks like the innocent party here, to me.

But the darkhaired one was known as Amara, the not so fast runaway.
Looks can be deceiving or mistakes have been made
You really have a knack for portraying softness and femininity on the cross Crumera. This sweet young woman is suffering due to her own mistake but at least we are able to accompany her in her journey thanks to you. I'm sure @Apostate will appreciate the lady in the background too.

Slaves know, they get a serious whipping, when they accidentally swap tituli! Crucifixion is a serious matter, that should be carried out with the necessary carefulness!

The centurian hears Judy's protestation of innocence. He tells her, "It doesn't matter if you helped Amara or not. By law, a slave owner can choose to execute all of his slaves if one runs away. As her fellow slave it was your duty to make sure she knew the consequences of fleeing. You failed in your duties. You are exactly where you belong."

Cruel ways of Queen Yupar
And so it came to pass, three women were executed together with Hilde.
Queen Yupar herself commanded it.
Family members feeling sorry for a condemned murderess suffering crucifixion?
Giving comfort to a criminal being executed!
Now four women from the same extended family are suspended from cruel nails.
Hilde front and center, behind her same cross Inge.
Miranda hanging all twisted on her own cross to one side
On the other side, Emina her legs splayed wide open on the right.
All four of them will eventually perish when the gods see fit.
Queen Yupar didn't stay that long,
she left after watching them squirm for about an hour.
Three women "comforting" a crucified criminal
And so it came to pass, three women were executed together with Hilde.
Queen Yupar herself commanded it.

Makes me imagine a cross sandwich, where both victims get some loving attention at the same time. One having her legs brutally spread open from the front, the other being buggered from the guy behind her...One does better not annoy Queen Yupar! Nails are cheap in the lands she rules!
