English girl on the cross: "Honestly, this is still a better time than bloody Newham."
Had to look that one up:

Newham is the second most dangerous borough in London. The overall crime rate in Newham in 2023 was 137 crimes per 1,000 people.Jun 10, 2024

No Wedding

My feet hurt my wrist even more.
my arms painfully straining on the nails.
I hang naked for all to see.
Crucified by the guards.

I will die here for a crime I did not commit.
I feel my breath getting shallow.
Pushing my legs down against the nail connecting my feet to the cross.
Feels like fire is jumping up from my feet through my legs.
Somehow I can brearthe more freely untill the agony radiating through my legs forces me to yield.
I sag down, my weight now pulling on my impaled wrist again.
My pinched nerves ina my arms screaming their distress to my brain.

I should have been married tomorrow, in the evening my virginity would have been taken gently,
by my fiancee/husband in the marital bed.
Alas the the judge first then five guards raped me after condemnation.

It hurt more then I had ever imagined,
of course it pales in compareson with the agony I am now going through.

My father murdered then robbed by the guards for my dowry.
Me bound and gagged brought back to the city.
Seeing part of my dowry handed to the fat magistrate.
Good for public order even beauty does not protect you from crucifixion he said to me.

Now I hang here suffering and perishing for the murder on my own father.
I have always honored the gods, how can they allow this to happen?

Another passerby plunges his fingers up in me in between my legs.
Guards and onlookers laughing, no one feels pity for a crucified murderer.
Never felt so lonely, surround by uncaring strangers who despise me.
My breath is getting shallow again, a new cycle of self torturing my feet begins as I push my legs down.

There is no hope, I cry out in my head to gods I no longer believe in, for death.
the echo of the judges words still resonate in my head:
A young strong body like her will last three or four days on the cross.
Looking at the slowly setting sun my seemingly endless suffering,
hasn't been more then two or three hours.

Nothing in my 20 summers has prepared me for this!
Ow gods kill me! NOW!!!

Me imagining what Rose is going through during her 29th "dance" movement

Nice skinny bodyshape!

The day after Saturnalia:

Roman festival lasting 7 days where social rules were for the most parts let go.
For example house slaves being served on by their masters is in the spirit of this.

Of course some slaves forget this role reversal is just make believe and piss off their masters.
These five slaves crossed the line what is acceptable.
Wine, stupidness, you get the idea!

A day after the festival ended, their owners got even.
They will spend the coming days contemplating their transgressions.
They might learn something, even if it is to late for them,
but other slaves might remember their fate next festival, or not.....
The morning after their "girls night out" on Saturnalia. Who remembers what went wrong, and when? They were just having so much fun . . . until . . .!

To afraid!

On her way to market Tyra saw the crosses near the barracks of the neighboring farm.
She shivered, she had bought her freedom, but three years ago she still was a slave.
Even now the threat of crucifixion gone, the fear it imposed on her remained.

Coming closer she saw the crucified were women, not mere fieldslaves.
Soon she rcognized both of them. houseslaves and sisters Nina and Bernice.
She met them both while on business for her patron to their masters farm
She stopped when she was closest to them, yes it was really them!

Two guards watching her from near the crosses.
Her mouth went dry.. she wanted to get closer,
but she knew comforting crucified criminals was in itself a crime.
She shook her head, folded her hands and prayed a quick prayer to the gods for them.

After that she continued her way to town.
There was nothing she could do for them.

That's a nice backstory, too! :)

Yikes! Yes, be careful, girl! Stay away. Do not give the authorities any reason to question your relationship with these criminals. If you let them see you they may recognize you and cry out to you for support as they hang in their agony. You may be a free woman now, but freedom can be taken away and you'd be a slave once again, and liable to be crucified yourself if the authorities found any connection between you and these criminals!
