That's how I imagine my wife being crucified in this way.
She is a doctor in a real world, so I can easily imagine that in the 1st century CE she could work as an assistant of a medician in valetudinarium, taking care of the patients and preparing the mixtures and drugs. And one day she made an error and a rich patient died. Or maybe he died of another reason, but someone must be sacrificed to ease the anger and to satisfy the complaints of a rich and mighty patrician family. The medician was the first to be punished, so he quickly accused her and prepared false evidence. She was led to the procurator and immediately sentenced in their presence to death, stripped naked, led out of the walls and crucified at the gate of the city within minutes.
(As usual, I imagine myself being her. If I lived in Roman times and if I was a woman...)
The beginning of the Day #1 (just after being nailed) when, despite of pain and shame, she would still try to be valiant, proud, composed, decent and hoping that she would die soon (her God would help her because she felt innocent...!). And the beginning of the Day #3 (after 50 hours of agony, being watched by her parents, her sister, her husband, children, and all the family members, her friends, her enemies, and by every man and woman in the town who knew her earlier and was curious to see her naked and weeping) when she would be crushed with unbearable pain, exhausted, debased, desperate and terrified of impending death... losing every hope... and losing her mind... but now she was fully aware that she would be dying for a day more, or two... So, she was just a halfway dead... and the really REALLY dreadful suffering was just beginning...
