Depends on the bristles. I learned long ago, in a non-BDSM setting, that stiff ones made of plastic can hurt. LOTS.

Lots of us don't care for the use of ball-gags. For me, they're too back-lot-bdsm-studio-ish. In other words, they distract from my fantasy. I use "thrice damned" as an expression of exasperation more than anything else, Joey. Like poem I feel they’re "back-lot-bdsm-studio-ish," and oddly enough contemporary bondage doesn’t have much appeal for me.
