Melissa is right, the starting cards are the King of Hearts, Jack of Clubs, King of Spades, Queen of Diamonds, Queen of Clubs, Jack of Diamonds.

The end cards are the Queen of Hearts, King of Clubs, Jack of Hearts, Queen of Spades, King of Diamonds.

The trick works because you are focusing on the card you picked not checking for the continued presence of all the others.

I can see what Melissa pointed out, but by that logic, if I do it enough, my card SHOULD show? (I need to tell this to an OCD friend of mine....:rolleyes:)

52 not counting two jokers in a standard set such as is being used in the trick

But the point is he uses five different cards at the end. You will note however they are the same cards each time. No magic, just misdirection.

I was a Nerd as well.......

My apologies to RR and Melissa for saying they were nerds, I meant it only as a compliment!

He hates rubic cubes as well............:)

I got him "occupied" however, for the next few days............( I know I'm cruel?):D
