A very contentious subject, probably best avoided. This forum is one of the few bits of relief we get from it.
Yeah I'm pissed off with it already....
None of them are promising public crucifixions,or floggings of wayward nubile young ladies.

I apologize. I certainly didn't intend to introduce controversy. I never realized that Homer Simpson was such a divisive character.

On the theme of coffee, I was drinking my first of the day in bed, listening to the radio. A feature about 'wild swimming' ie swimming in rivers, lakes etc, anywhere except a purpose-built pool.

Don't worry folks, this old fool hasn't started blathering, there is a very pertinant point to this tale.

The speaker was a woman, and she said women predominate in this activity and are rapidly taking it up, while men are less keen.

She then went on to say she enjoys the shock of entering British open water (10C or less), how her skin feels on fire, how this gives her an endorphin rush and she enjoys the feeling that she has beaten the pain; it sets her up for the day.

So I couldn't help thinking about how some of our brave girls have explained the feeling they get from a whipping. Any of our whipping aficionados tried this or similar cold-water treatment?

It was also said that women tolerate pain well, and implied that they were made for it and need it. This comes as no surprise to readers of CF, but maybe these facts will be another tiny nudge towards BDSM becoming a normal, even healthy, activity?

As a male, who therefore has no right to comment on this, I shall anyway, inviting emasculating responses from the distaff side.

Although men can certainly experience pain in ordinary life, women are biologically adapted to pain in a different way. Arguably, the most significant event in the average (before the last 100 years in advanced societies) woman's life was childbirth, an event of great danger and great pain and a very great reward. Women's bodies have adapted to the need to endure this pain while promoting great joy in conjunction. It is not surprising that, in one of many redirections of sensations and lust, this may, in many cases lead to an association of pain and arousal for some women.

Hi,
Allow me to introduce Suzie, she's one of our waitress's here at The Coffee Shop. You can have Cappucino, Espresso, Cafe au lait or any recipe you know. You can also have alcoholic drinks and may I recommend two rather fruity wines from the vineyards of Isolda. You could even have a Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster but only with written permission of your psychiatrist.
I think the other pic is an old Damian. It looks like somebody has chopped the writing off.
Sound checks have now been successfully carried out at our new arena.
Mel
P.S.
All drinks here are free.
Suzie's picture reminds me of a waitress I saw on my honeymoon in Florida. She was small-breasted, had on a white blouse with no bra. I could see her pierced nipples poking under the blouse. I got a hard-on dreaming about sucking and nibbling her all that evening!

Did she get a good tip on account of her tits?

Did your bride benefit from the waitresses display?

As the three most important sexual landmarks for a woman are the onset of puberty, the loss of virginity and childbirth . All three come with varying degrees of pain so it is no surprise that so many associate pain and pleasure to a greater degree than most men.

Would someone PLEASE,for the love of God, ask, the,(otherwise),lovely Suzie,to hurry up with my freshly,slave-bard,ground Coffee....
I've been waiting an eternity,for it.....!! :(
If she's not up to the simple job of waitressing, then perhaps she should writhe ,nude,(loinclothed),upon a cross, for the day !!

I am sure that the wife did!
Are you still married though, Whipmaster?
I am married. But because my wife has terrible self esteem issues, I keep a lot of thoughts about other women to myself. My wife has survived TWO abusive husbands, one who tried to kill her, the other who mistreated her emotionally. I love her so much that I know if I mentioned some other woman, even casually, she would compare herself to that other, and in her head she would come up short. I don't dare tell her about my online activities for the same reason. I don't want anyone else, I want her. But a part of her thinks she doesn't deserve to be treated with love and respect. She doesn't even realize how low her self esteem is, how much her problem affects her. If I compliment her, she can't hear it. The compliments just ricochet right off her.

And yet, in 15 years of marriage, I have never felt so blessed to have the genuine love she has for me. And I am constantly challenged to find ways to show her (beyond, of course, telling her, which I do).

I firmly believe that every woman walking on the planet today is the end result of a long line of millions of women who didn't die in childbirth, which makes for a VERY strong individual indeed.

You are a good and brave man. I regret my rather thoughtless question.

Baracus, maybe one of these could bring you your coffee (or tea, wine, whiskey)?
