Not actually, Riesling is a variety of grape that can make superb wine grown well in the right conditions and made into wine with care. But it does best in cool temperate regions - like Rheingau and Alsace, where the earliest records of it come from the late middle ages - in USA, Washington state produces the best Rieslings. I don't think much is grown in California, what there is is, like the label says, 'refreshingly sweet', but that's about all that can be said for it!Wait, Californian “Riesling”?
Isn’t that, like, a sacrilege?
Mosel too.But it does best in cool temperate regions - like Rheingau and Alsace
I had two glasses yesterday. To me it wasn't sweet but then again im used to Moscato which is sweeter, it had a neutral palet which is good for people who want itNot actually, Riesling is a variety of grape that can make superb wine grown well in the right conditions and made into wine with care. Good adviceNo drinking and driving
So keep the keys to the Mustang away from @Barbaria1 after her third Riesling? I bet no-one told @thehangingtree this sage advice before the Great Mustang Shenaingans of 2005, 2007, 2010, 2015, and 2021? Of course he’s got Seagrams memory syndrome so it probably doesn’t matter…No drinking and driving
I see on the vintage chart those were exceptionally good years for Riesling. 2021 looks promising, too. Move over, Robert Parker, here comes the Mustang-bender!2005, 2007, 2010, 2015
I find it hard to care when Hollywood is so bereft of vision or imagination anyway. Mostly what Hollywood does is sequels. And they would rather do a sequel with the corpse of Harrison Ford than find a new story or action hero. But the stars have gone ... or are going out ...

Hollywood already did, with a digital Carrie Fisher, for further milking out the Star Wars franchise, isn't it?I find it hard to care when Hollywood is so bereft of vision or imagination anyway. Jolly as a Hollywood agent for deceased moviestars? That could work, since in afterlife, everybody, unless died earlier, has the looks of his/her thirty years old.Jollyrei let them borrow it. Even the Angel of Death has his price
