The 2009 Friday the 13th did good in the box office. The 2010 nightmare on elm street did bad because it was the same movie minus the cheesy 80s humor
I've seen these films, they're pretty good, by the way. I meant, will there be remakes of Freddy and Jason now...
Although no, it’s better not to, seriously. I'm sure that even if they release them, I won't have any desire to watch it.

One never notices when there is no health issue, but once there is... a good health that's what matters in the first place.

And I know! It can hurt when certain issues do not go like desired. Keep it up, Baracus!

Just stopping by to agree here. In August at the ripe age of 40 I suffered a right side cerebellum stroke. Spent nearly a month in the hospital and rehab. Didn't pay attention to warnings, never kept up with healthcare. Then I get fucked up.

So now I understand the value of due diligence and the value of regular health visits lol. Last thing I want is another stroke or worse.

a bdsm themed music video. It's in Russian but worth checking out
I'm from Russia, but I don't know this group) It's funny, but it seems that most of their songs are in English.
As for the video itself... No, I don't like it. Too glamorous. Another attempt to present BDSM as something “stylish and fashionable”, but I’m allergic to everything “stylish and fashionable”) Whipping a teddy bear -

Probably does lose it's appeal when mainstream. I always liked the rougher bdsm stuff that involves marks

Unfortunately, almost everything loses its appeal when it becomes mainstream. These constant attempts... Every time, trying to increase the audience, they make simplification, softening, primitivism. It looks bad. But the most unfortunate thing is that the broad masses happily eat it up (there is no other way to call it) and demand a continuation.
I’m talking, of course, not only about BDSM, but in general about movies, books, music, which were initially created for a more or less narrow audience, but then it was decided to expand this audience at any cost.

Best maple syrup and Tim Hortons coffee sounds good on Thanksgiving
Well, I am not sure who owns Tim Horton's now. Didn't they merge with Burger King, which itself has been sold by various "private equity" groups multiple times. Then, Molson's merged with Coors. Budweiser is owned by a Brazilian company. I also read that there was an attempt to create a maple syrup cartel, but that it has to be careful because there are a lot of underutilized maple trees in New England, New York, Michigan, etc.
In the 50's, the whole world was owned ultimately by Scrooge McDuck. Maybe now everything ultimately traces back to Rupert Murdoch and Warren Buffet. Nothing is really "national" any more. Canadian National and Canadian Pacific fought over Kansas City Southern Railroad (whose tracks extend into Mexico and south of that), and the latter won. Canadian National has a lot of activity around Chicago. Hockey isn't even Canadian anymore. The Arizona Coyotes are in the National Hockey League (trust me, there is no native ice in Phoenix, and there wasn't even in the Ice Age).

I get good organic maple syrup called 'St Lawrence Gold' that's sold in UK shops catering for the muesli-eating classes - owned by something called DJM Food Solutions, I think probably a relatively independent company?

The nastiest thing about Budweiser - apart from it being utterly foul to drink - is their preventing the home of really good lager from using its own name, nowadays Budovice in the Czech Republic.

You're right, aside from the fact that I very rarely drink beer, I tried American Budweiser once - never again. On the other hand, the Czech beers, whether Budějovický Budvar, Staro Brno, Staro Pramen or Plzeňský Prazdroj, are really tasty.
