Daz will work perfectly well on low end computers, but rendering times will be long, but if you're only doing the occasional one that's really not too much of a problem. Most of my past renders have been done on a dual-core AMD processor with 6Gb ram and an old Nvidia GeForce 550Ti with 1Gb of vram, giving me average render times of around 2-3 hours at 1024x768. Times go up exponentially with image size of course, but I don't post mine anywhere other than in here so I don't need huge images because I'd only have to reduce them to fit in with the posting guidelines here anyway.

I am just waiting to save some cash and also consult with a friend heavy into the pc stuff.
What I have noticed is that Das and the various peripherals worked better with a Windows system.
I had been using a MAC Pro Tower for many a year but realized how outdated it has become.
Stay away from tech for the wink of an eye and you have a lot of catch up to do.
