The “Voluntary Sexual Slavery Act” (VoSSA)
A brief history
A few months ago, the Voluntary Sexual Slavery Act was passed. VoSSA allows people to sell themselves to masters or mistresses for varying periods of time, ranging from a month to ten years. Personally, I think the Act was a great idea!
Obviously, choosing to become a slave is a major decision – almost as life changing as becoming a vegan. Slavery contracts are highly regulated and legally binding. Breaking one usually carries very heavy penalties for the slave including imprisonment and/or being designated a non-voluntary slave which means the person is still a slave but may forfeit a large part or all their portion of the sale price. Owners also suffer if they fail to live up to the terms of the contract, but, as the law was written by future owners, not slaves, contracts tend to be weighted in the owners’ favors.
Before a person can legally sell themselves, they must sign a contract and publicly declare their intentions in an interview designed to weed out those uncertain. The interview is carried on an internet feed and, as the slave ends the interview naked and chained, it is usually viewed by hundreds of millions worldwide. Only the last episode of "Mash" has ever pulled in more viewers.
Sales
Once the prospective slave has irrevocably declared their intention, he or she is put up for sale. Sales may happen in several ways:
There are strong markets for slaves of every sex, size, race, age, and level of attractiveness. However, just as in the porn industry, the highest prices are commanded by very attractive women who, “check the boxes.” Slaves can specify what their owners are allowed to do them sexually and what levels of bondage and/or torture they are willing to endure. For example, prospective slaves who select the “all holes allowed,” box tend to sell for more than those who do not. Not honoring the box checks can carry severe penalties for owners.
This attractive woman checked almost all the boxes and thus brought in a $2.9 million bid for a six-year contract in a private, exclusive combined live / on-line auction.
Of course, @Eulalia also commanded a very premium price at a private, exclusive auction. Trust me, she’s worth every penny of it!
However, not all sales are via internet. Slaves of lesser value may be sold at public, in-person auctions. These auctions are announced at least two days in advance, and the merchandise remains on display at least twelve hours to give all a chance to bid. Prospective buyers are allowed to, indeed encouraged to, touch the merchandise.
In public auctions, a prospective slave may set a “reserve” price level that must be met before ownership is awarded.
Retail is also an option:
As in almost all retail, the “on sale” price is usually based on an inflated normal price. It should be noted that foot traffic has increased more than fifty percent for malls that carry this type of merchandise.
Finally, sometimes personal deals can be made, but; to be legal, they must meet the requirements of the “Standard Slave Contract.”
After the Sale
The slave is the property of the owner and must obey any commands and endure any torments that fall within the checked boxes. Contracts usually specify how many friends and family will be allowed to “share” the slave sexually at any one time. This number is usually around three or so, but the record is thirty-five (what WAS she thinking?).
So that slaves may be easily identifiable as such, when in public they are required to be restrained with hands behind their backs or in a Sirik. In clement weather, they are to be completely nude. Foul and cold weather clothing must clearly show in large letters, “SLAVE.”
PROBLEMS
Parking
Slaves get to keep a large portion of the usually substantial sale price after their term is up. As a result, so many people have sold themselves, slave parking is a major headache in many cities.
Slave parking facilities were built quickly but filled up just as quickly.
The front of the sign below clearly says, “No Slave Parking.” The owner of this slave is risking a substantial parking ticket.
Sex
Even though the act is titled the “Voluntary Sexual Slavery Act,” owners and slaves have not always seen eye to eye about sex.
In the end, it worked out well for both of them. He had fun and she got to slake her thirst.

In future posts, we’ll examine many more of the implications and results of this important (and wonderful!) piece of legislation. We’ll also view a prospective slave’s qualifying interview. We’ll examine many of the multitude of ways owners may discipline their slaves.
Although, for some, there are issues yet to be resolved, I remain an avid personal fan of the law.
Oh, and if you haven’t visited Eul lately, you should (she likes to see her friends). If you really want to enjoy it, meet her in a public place on a nice day. “Wait,” you might say, “doesn’t that mean she has to be naked?” Well, you know how some people like to show off their mansions, or Mercedes, or yachts? Not me. I like to show off my best stuff!
