Are these games that can run on PC?
I haven't a clue how this is all made, but it is fantastic !
So Skyrim/Skyrim Special Edition is a game that runs on PC (and I'm thinking it's well known enough that even many non-gamers have heard of it?)
But it alone cannot do this stuff (it alone gives you characters that look like poop)...it has to be modded and modding it a certain way takes some time and energy/patience. But modding it a certain way allows one to...
...build a character in game (or get another mod that puts a follower in game like Delia in this comic)...change their hair or put a wig mod on them (like Delias red wig)
...have moving/bouncing bits with physics (not too important in still images except in this comic the hair physics I used to show her falling or with whip strikes to help show movement)
...change expressions with a ton of modifiers to eyes/mouth/brows
...instal a HUGE collection of modded animations (there are just so many online...I have over 1000 preset animations in my game
...an additional mod that (halfway) works...allowing you to tweak any of those 1000 animations by moving individual joints (works to move head, shoulder joints, hips and full body mostly)
...skin decals (which I try and mess with but even with a mod for it results are not always consistent/good looking)
At the end of it all...it becomes a "studio" more than a "game"... or at least...something good enough for me who probably could never learn a real studio. Truth be told I only use Skyrim now to make naughty comics I don't really play it (and if I tried to play it with all these mods meant to make it image friendly...it definitely wouldn't work)
Fantastic. Thank you for mentioning me as source of whipped body inspiration. Anyway your texture is , imo, very good and realistic and if it works automatically on every comic frames....you win.
Usually I prefer ( my fantasy prefers ) a bit more rivulets of blood all over the body but as you wrote there are technical limits and , overall, author fantasy preference.
Thanks for sharing.
I agree rivulets would be best. Maybe I can show a few in a few panels but yes I'd have to clean them off for a comic in motion as they are fluid and should be shown as such (dripping in different directions as she is oriented) then yeah they become one thing that's a bigger chore to keep up with as the comic stays in movement.
But when she's on display as in above image...probably no reason not to have a few more. Maybe she just gets cleaned off a little after that when taken to dungeon.
