I love the way she's been secured to the board - knees bent so that when she's tipped backwards her legs are spread so that her captors can have a little fun with her!
My backstory - she's been captured and is being subjected to a brutal interrogation. They inform her that she's going to be dunked and left under for 30 seconds - she'll then be let up for 5 seconds before they dunk her again - only this time she'll be kept under for 45 seconds before being let back up. Every time she's dunked the time increases by 15 seconds. They take great pleasure in telling her how long she's going under for every time.
The interrogation begins. She's well trained and can withstand the ordeal by using advanced breath holding techniques. However, they hold her under longer every time and soon she's struggling to get enough air into her lungs. When it gets to 3 minutes she's struggling desperately and is almost passing out from lack of oxygen.
They let her back up and she breaks and gives them the information!

Not sure who the artist is but this is an interesting sci-fi take on water torture - 2 unfortunate women captured by aliens and imprisoned in stasis tubes.
It would be good if the stasis tubes could be used to interrogate as well as imprison the captives. The liquid would be an extremely effective conductor - by passing an electrical or sonic shock wave through the liquid the aliens could torture their captives for information.
I can imagine them bucking and writhing in agony as the pain increases!
