These look like some old still photos from Rebellion 2015. We rebels lost so many like that in the final battles in northern Arkansas ... captured in the field by IMF fighters and subjected to unspeakable horrors.

#2 has something going on almost out of frame. Seems quite perilous.

You're right, there's blood, hair and who knows what else.
Despite looking like a cropped photo, I think, that the artist did the painting this way even to create controversy.

actually they look to me quite like clubmosses -
plants that grew enormous alongside huge tree-ferns and horsetails
in the age of the dinosaurs, but are now only wee mountain species
