Desperate thoughts in desperate times. I am told the day of court gets even more bizarre:eek:

With her and Tree’s comingled fluids dripping down the end of her thighs and her wrists still locked behind her back, she was led out of the Tree house to wait to be taken to her trial. Tree said to her “If you run I’ll shoot you in the back. It’s a hell of a lot quicker than the cross.”
She looked over her shoulder and replied “That is not my style.”

“Your choice” Tree replied as he walked back into the Tree house to FIX A DRINK make breakfast. Moments late Joan Tree pulled up in a small pickup truck with a box in the bed that a large dog would have trouble fitting in. Gunner and Bull wrapped the dangerous rebel leader in chains and forced her into the box. Even in the early sun with little ventilation Barbaria was sweating profusely…

…and with every bump her oozing loins slipped around on the smooth steel floor. She began to think a bullet in the back would have been a better choice…

"Co-mingled fluids"? Maybe we can bottle and sell?

Before we get to court perhaps you recall Fran and Martha’ the two slaves from the same harem that by chance were crucified near each other. Martha had not accepted her fate but was resigned to it while Fran was angry she was suffering on the cross…
crux 088.jpg
When Fran was offered the ’48 hour mercy kill’ she was the first and only rebel to take the offer. She moaned “God damn, yes end this!”

Gunner unsheathed a large knife now commonly called a ‘Rambo’ knife after the move. He thrust the blade up and into Fran a few inches below her bottom right rib, tearing her diaphragm and piercing her lung but only knocking her heart. After two days crucified she could only muster a high-pitched squeal. It may have saved her another day dying on the cross but her last hour was filled with new pain that she had grown numb from the rigors of the cross…

Side show or short subject?....nice digression....good writing.

While at Crux Forums there have been a few snide comments about the ‘fairness’of Judge Admi’s court, the trials of the core group of rebel slaves were at least short and his prosecutor was scoring a 100% conviction record. The Hill of 100 Crosses rarely sported an empty cross as the last of the rebels were tried. Some bravely resisted confessing but the ‘interrogation room’ at the rented obsolete prison would swiftly break them down…

…to the point Tree was becoming concerned about his sister Joan’s zealousness with her job. But one could not argue with her effectiveness. Rebel slaves confessed in droves knowing they faced the death penalty. Most of them did not the method of execution would be crucifixion. Not satisfied with just the confession rebel slaves were ‘encouraged’ by Joan to name their leaders…

…by one means or another…

In an effort to decentralize the rebellion and avoid the mistakes if the Great Slave Rebellion of 2013 the rebellion had been divided into cells with many of the rebels not even knowing who (if anyone) was in charge. But one thing was certain, who would be the last five tried.

...this assumes they are found guilty...

Geeze. Still peddling that fair trial bullshit, huh? We all know that no matter what happens in the courtroom, no matter how innocent we may be, no matter what the bribes we may pay, the outcome will always be the same.
