Loved them all. The last one, with the woman drinking, shows the cruelness of the people that condemned them to the cross. Sure, they give her water but not for her relief. They only want her to suffer the torture of the cross longer. Nailed to the wood, she cannot get water herself. Her thirst overwhelms her desire to die...
Thanks, I made the sponge myself in blender using geometry nodes, procedural textures, and displacement maps on top of both of those. Took me a few weeks of on and off work to get right and it was just hanging out in a blender file. Of course I couldn't very well bring such a complex and procedurally-driven object into Daz Studio, so it was composited in from the render in blender cycles. I matched the HDRI and everything!

how merciful. whip her, rape her, crucify her and then give her some water (or maybe pee..) from a sponge. that's the beauty of crucifixion, lttle acts of mercy like the water or put a crown of flowers in their hair, like the spoused ones, because they were "married" (cornu..) to the pole...
The ladies appear to have been scourged before being nailed to their crosses , well done!!!!!!

She's emerging from shadow into a bright light, and I find in the second pic I could imagine, she is pausing, awestruck by the destiny that's revealed to her, in that light.
