In a time past, Quercus Conferta, governor of what would be known as Sicily, took umbrage to the women who ‘entertained’ his soldiers in unspeakable ways of sexual activities. To keep his men in proper shape and stop the lewd habits of the women, he arrested a group of women, tried them, and condemned them to death. To prove he was the ruler of the land, he crucified they along the road that led to the harbor in Messina. This is the story of their executions.

Quercus Conferta (Oak Tree) must admit this story was inspired by discussions of what conversations people would have while they suffer the horrible tortures of the cross. There is an excellent story by Mp5stab and Barbara, called ‘Crucified in conversation’ that is a great inspiration for this effort. Tree hopes you like…

Looking forward to entertainig crux chit-chat of a few entertaining ladies.

Quercus Conferta was not always the governor. He was a carpenter who joined the army when work got slow. He wasn’t one of the top soldiers but his skill with woodworking paid off well. The other soldiers were quite skilled at raiding and taking over territories but when they needed something built they always turned to Quercus.

Soon his commander came to him and asked if he ever crucified a person. Quercus had not but figured nailing someone to a cross couldn’t be much harder than nailing a couple pieces of wood together. The next battle the soldiers were in, they won as they usually did. The captured ruler was sentence to death and, in the Roman tradition, would be publicly crucified. Quercus was assigned to nail him to the cross and he did a fine job of doing so. Sure, the man bitched about being crucified but he survived the nailing and the raising of his cross.

Quercus looked up at the man he just nailed to the cross. He was in a lot of pain, but the Romans were killing him. Quercus’s commander came by and congratulated him for the fine work he did crucifying the man. “I reckon he’ll last a day or two before he dies on that damn thing.”

Quercus looks up at the man suffering the agony of the cross. He asks the commander why it was necessary to kill the man that way. The commander said “It shows who won. We kicked his army’s ass, but we lost some men. This shows what happens when someone stands up against Rome.”

Quercus looks at the crowd that doesn’t seem to upset their king has been crucified. He asks his commander “Why don’t we crucify all his generals?”

crux male04 D.jpg

“They were a good army led well. We can hire them as mercenaries. We get men and they get to live” the commander says. “Always take care of the leader- make sure they are dead. Their soldiers are more than willing to work with us than end up on a cross.”

“And his people” Quercus asks.

“Never kill the people. They didn’t choose that guy as their leader. Plus they will pay taxes to Rome that pays you and me.”

That commander will make it to emperor!

Years went by and Quercus rose in rank. It was not because he was that good of a soldier and hardly a decent leader. But Quercus had become an expert at crucifying people, both conquered leaders and even being borrowed in Rome to nail slaves and disgraced Romans to the cross (they were stripped of their citizenship before they were executed). He was given the title of ‘Crucifix Maximus’ which got him more pay but was more honorary than a real rank.

In the meantime, Quercus’ commander had risen to become the Supreme Leader of the Roman army. Penus Humongius has eyed on Julius’ title (another story for another time) and decided the country of Lesbania would make a good addition to the empire. He assembled a huge army to invade the country and was successful in taking it.

Queen Scarlett Vagina met with Penus and demanded to know what he wanted.

owp 425 a.jpg

“Rome and Lesbania have always coexisted in peace. What is the nature of your invasion” she asked.

Of course, Queen Vagina was not in a good bargaining position. Not only had her army been defeated, but she stands naked before Penus Humongius and his concubine wife. Penus’ woman glares at Scarlett and with disdain asks “This is Lesbania’s queen? She looks more like a slave. Penus, you must dispose of this wench!”

c 0001.jpg

Penus may be army’s Supreme Leader but he knows where he gets his pussy. He has Scarlett arrested and in a mock trial condemns her to death by the most vile method known to man- she will be executed crucified on a wooden cross!

c 0005.jpg

Queen Scarlett’s execution would be several weeks away. Word had to be spread about her crucifixion and Penus had to summon Quercus Conferta who was in Rome taking care of some business for Rome’s emperor…

Quercus finally gets to Lesbania. He is intrigued that he will be crucifying a woman. He has never done one before. He talks it over with Penus Humongius. “I’ve never crucified a woman before but I guess the cross will do its deed as well on one as it would a man.”

“Once she’s nailed to it and hanging from it, her ass is mine. And she’ll lool better than a guy hanging from it. It will lift her tits instead of some bastard’s limp cock hanging between his legs” Penus says enthusiastically.

“For sure” Quercus says “but I don’t think she should carry her cross to the hill. She has a nice body but she might get worn out toting the cross.”

“So what? I am putting her to death” Penus says.

“But if she’s dead quick she won’t suffer as long. You won’t make a point if she only lasts part of a day” Quercus says. “Skip having her carry it. She’ll put on a better show if she is fresh when the cross is raised.”

Penus is disappointed Scarlett doesn’t carry the cross to the hill but she arrives fresh and only a bit sweaty.

Scarlett stands on the hilltop naked as she was born. She glares at Penus and says “So what happens now?”

“M’lady, we nail you to the cross and hang you from it until you die” Penus snarls.

c 0106 A.jpg

Scarlett has heard of crucifixions before but had no idea what it would feel like. The thought she would be nailed to the wood and raised to hang from it sounded totally barbaric. She was quite right about that.

A pair of soldiers grab Scarlett’s arms to take her to the cross.

c 0028 B.jpg

Both soldiers had seen men crucified before but never had seen a woman suffer the ordeal. One of the soldiers apologized to Scarlett saying he had to crucify her. The thought of doing so was making him ill.

Scarlett, trying to salvage what bit of nobility she had let insisted she could place herself on the cross. She asked several times for directions before she was positioned on the cross. She looked up from the cross and said the wood was terribly rough.

Quercus instructed his assistants Archer and Bull to grab her arms and legs. Scarlett protested saying “That is not necessary! I will hold still.”

Quercus repeated his order and once they held her he raised the mallet and drove the first spike through her wrist.

crux nail 016 A.jpg

For such a small person, it took all the effort Archer and Bull had to hold her on the cross. It did not take long to nail her. Ropes were attached to the crossbeam of the cross and they lifted the cross with Scarlett spiked to it.

crux lift 003 A.jpg

As the cross neared vertical, its stipe slid into its mounting hole, jarring hard when it reached the bottom. If Scarlett thought the wood was rough when she was laying on it, it was amplified when her back slid down the stipe.

c 0064 a.jpg

The only thing that distracted her from wood tearing into her flesh was the searing pain from the spiked as they ripped into the holes in her wrists and feet. Scarlett bucked and twisted in the confines of the spikes that displayed her on the cross.

A few minutes later, Scarlett got her breath back and in a panting voice asked “What have you done to me?”

Quercus wiped his brow and said “Crucified you. Like the view?”

c 0124 A.jpg

“It is the only thing that will change while you are on the cross.”

One thing Quercus had found over the years he had crucified people is the condemned people have few true friends once they are hanging from the cross. Criminals condemned to the cross had usually spent any goodwill anyone might have felt towards them. Slaves that were crucified were definitely deserving of such a horrific execution. And he had found the rulers he had crucified had few loyal friends. After all, they were defeated and dying. It was time to put loyalties with the powers that put them on the cross.

Scarlett was the first woman Quercus had crucified or had even seen crucified. In Rome, women slaves were disposed of privately and swiftly, usually beheaded which was cheaper and kept with the norms of the time. Bur Scarlett was the first woman condemned to death on the cross. She hanged from the face of the cross displayed naked for all to see as she suffered the cross’ torture.

crux 368 A.jpg

Quercus had ordered a platoon of soldiers to stand guard so no one would try to rescue her. As had happened with all the other rulers he had crucified, the crowd had little interest in saving Queen Vagina from the cross. Hanging naked from the cross, her natural beauty was prominently displayed. Certainly she deserved such a cruel execution. And hanging naked on the cross she wore none of the trappings of her royalty. It was not long the soldiers on guard were protecting her from the zealous crowd that came to gawk at the naked woman being tortured to death nailed lewdly to the cross.

Being crucified is as brutal way to kill a person. By late afternoon, Scarlett had forgotten her royal upbring and the pampered life she had led. Every joint she hanged from screamed to her the agony they were in. Tears that had filled her eyes had dried and fine dust stuck to her face, blurring her vision. She could no longer feel or move her hands. And every breath was a labor of life.

crux 241 B.jpg

Sometime during the night, death mercifully paid Scarlett a visit to end her torture. Quercus arrived on the hill early the next morning. He looked over Scarlett’s body both pleased she had died and annoyed her suffering end so soon.

crux 717 A.jpg

He paid some of the locals a few gold coins to take her down and discretely bury her body. They worked quickly to remove their late queen. Quercus had paid them more than they made in months of work.

Quercus was rewarded for his efforts and was made the governor of Sicily. The Romans had a joke the island was being ‘kicked’ from the main land but Quercus didn’t mind. He found being a governor came with a great deal of perks. Besides, it relieved him of his service in the army that he was not that good at and had tired of its nomadic life.

But Quercus would soon learn being a governor came responsibilities. How he handled them were greatly influenced by his background in the army…

One of the duties of a governor is to maintain order. The governor does not need to police his people- he has constables to do that. It is his duty to pass sentence on those apprehended violating the laws. This is where Quercus drew on his military background.

In Rome, criminals and enemies of the state were often condemned to death. Those who had committed the most heinous crimes were condemned to death on the cross. Such punishment was quite effective as the criminal could not repeat his crime nor did he require to be fed and guarded, both expenses to the state.

Quercus was rather liberal in damning prisoners to death crucified. At first it shocked the citizens of Sicily as they were unfamiliar with such a harsh punishment for criminals, but they soon turned out in crowds to see a criminal put to death on a cross.

crux male 001 C.jpg

As time passed and more men had been crucified, it became a social event to see men being executed on the cross. Strangely, women seemed intrigued seeing men displayed naked on the cross when they were executed. They would gather around the crucified men and mock them as their ‘manliness’ hung limp from their loins.

crux male04 B.jpg

The women would make fun of the men’s cocks dangling between their legs, often shouting such things as “You never satisfied me before you were crucified. It doesn’t look like you will now.”

As the soldiers guarding the crucified men and the women became more familiar with the guards, keeping the women separated from the condemned men became less strict. The women were often allowed to get close enough to touch the crucified men. They would stroke the men’s cocks attempting to get the men hard.

crux male 008.jpg

Of course the men rarely showed any sign of an erection and the women would take great glee in making fun of their soft cocks.

The perspective of crucifixions changed a few years after Quercus became governor. There was a barmaid near the city of Messina who was quite beautiful and no fan of Governor Conferta. Natalia lived nicely on a barmaid’s wages which were well supplemented by the crews of the pirate ships that frequented docked in the cove near her tavern.

owp 535.jpg

The pirates had no problem tipping her a pouch of gold for her company- after all, they had stolen a vast amount more raiding ships trading with the empire.

One day, on word from the street, Quercus Confeta sent a crack group of soldiers to raid Natalia’s tavern. In the raid, Natalia was caught engaged in heavy fornication with a pirate ship’s captain. He of course was condemned to be put to death on a cross. Natalia was tried for providing safety and comfort to enemies of Rome. Natalia was found guilty and Quercus sentenced to be the first woman to be crucified in Sicily!

crux court 003.jpg

There was great surprise Natalia had been condemned to death but by the time she was marched to the hill to be crucified, Quercus had managed to arrange respectable women of Messina to jeer and humiliate Natalia on her way to the hill where she would be crucified.

crux carry 144.jpg

On the last day of the month, Natalia was crucified next to her pirate lover. The pair were naked as they suffered the tortures of cross while they were put to death.

crux 010.jpg

It should be noted that after the shock of seeing Natalia naked on the cross, she drew considerably more attention than her pirate lover. Quercus was pleased with the people’s reaction to Natalia’s crucifixion (he really did not care what they thought of the pirate’s next to her).

He decided the cross would be a suitable means to execute women in the future…

Looks like he is a wise and gracious governor so far, doing away with the old sexism of imperial Rome and bringing to light a new and glorious gender equality in the terrible tortures women must now endure.
Quercus does not see crucifixion as "terrible tortures' but a suitable way to execute criminals and enemies of the state for their heinous behaviors. Though they suffer greatly before they die, Quercus sees this as punishment they have earned. It is true that he sees condemning women to such a means of execution a noble step forward in equality though the women experience their death on the cross might disagree...

Quercus did not have to wait long to test his idea. A Greek woman named Thekla was arrested for stealing from the merchants’ sailors when the docked in Messina. It was not hard to do. Thekla was the innkeeper at an inn the was more like a modern hotel with private bedrooms and elaborate baths. It was good business to offer the sailors a place to refresh and clean up before their short voyage to the mainland.

Thekla soon learned the sailors were less than careful where they kept their money. She learned if she stole a small amount from each sailor, they would not notice it missing and, if they did, would not report the loss to the authorities. This was Thekla’s mistake.

She had pilfered what she considered a small amount from a Chinese sailor. He not only noticed his missing coins but reported it to the police. Quercus heard about the man’s loss and set up what could be called an undercover operation with Roman soldiers posing as sailors. In a few days it was determined Thekla was the thief and with all she took a pretty good one at that.

Thekla was arrested and tried before Quercus. Sternly he explained to her that minor theft from the merchants could not be tolerated and what she had stolen went far beyond ‘minor theft’. With gravitas he declared “Thekla, you have been found guilty of stealing from the merchants’ sailors. I sentence you to be put to death. You will be crucified on this coming market day where you will be Hanged naked on a cross until you are dead!”

tree court 001 E.jpg

Thekla was unfamiliar with this ‘crucifixion’ and when she inquired what Quercus meant, he only said “You will learn in a most personal way.”

Thekla was taken to the building’s cellar where she would be held until her crucifixion.

prison 370.jpg

She asked what this crucifixion she was facing was like but the guard only told her she would find out soon enough. As she waited for the market day to find out, the guards treated her in a most lewd and ungentlemanly way.

head 73.jpg

You can’t blame they. Thekla was not only a condemned prisoner, but she was also a fine looking lady.

On market day, Thekla was taken naked to the hill overlooking Messina. Soldiers in their finest uniforms nailed her to the cross.

crux 595.jpg

She screamed tremendously as the thick spikes were driven through her wrists and feet. She had never felt such pain in her life. Quercus’ mistress knelt by her cross and stroked her face saying “That was just to attach to the cross. Now it will be raised and you will die hanging from it.”

crux 597 A.jpg

It was with a giddy joy when she ordered the soldiers to raise Thekla and her cross.

Once raised, Thekla cried out as the cross spread her body as she hanged from the spikes.

crux 675 C.jpg

The good citizens of Messina gather around her cross. They all agreed Quercus had done the right thing executing Thekla in such a manner. She looked wonderful displayed naked above them and it took till the evening of the following day for her to die on the cross.

Quercus was pleased how the people enjoyed Thekla’s execution…

This spells more nailing to come! While Quercus even managed to make himself popular!

Quercus was pleased the people of Messina not only enjoyed Thekla’s crucifixion, but they approved of the woman being executed by being nailed to the cross and hung from it until she was dead. It did not occur to him Thekla displayed far better on the cross than any men he had put to death that way.

When men were crucified, they usually exhibit quite a fight while the spikes driven through their wrists and feet hold them securely spread on the cross. Gradually the cross wins and they tire as they hang on the wood. Soon insects begin to feed on their flesh. Nailed as they are, they can do nothing to stop the onslaught of the flies. They hang worn out on the cross’ face, their manhood hanging limp between their legs.

crux male 007 B.jpg

When Thekla was crucified she too fought a battle with the cross she was prisoner of. She was quite animated as she tried to escape the nails that held her to the cross, but watching her twist and squirm on the cross was far more entertaining interesting to watch than any man was.

crux kathy 005.jpg

Even as Thekla tired, the cross still held her breasts up as if she was enjoying her time crucified.

crux 903 A.jpg

The people watching Thekla’s crucifixion stayed late into the day to watch her torments on the cross, something they never did as the men crucified slowly succumbed to the cross.

Quercus was pleased her crucifixion was so well received. He expanded the crimes that a woman could be crucified for. He became known as the most severe governor of the Roman empire. The condemned women did not appreciate his new-found status but the people of Sicily enjoyed the spectacle of the crucified women.

crux 173 A.jpg

But then along came Rosetta. Rosetta was the daughter of a Roman senator who moved to Sicily to avoid the trappings of being a public figure’s offspring. She was comparatively quite wealthy and bestowed with a body of a goddess. She enjoyed the company of the trading ships’ captains, who paid well for their time with her. Bedding the daughter of Roman senator who looked like Rosetta was worth some coin before heading to the mainland and going the work of unloading their ship and haggling a fair price for their cargo.

owp 302.jpg

But the was a ship’s captain who felt it was obscene a woman- even a senator’s daughter- would dare to ask for compensation for her time with him. He complained to Quercus about Rosetta’s selling of herself and made it clear if Quercus did not do something about it, he knew the emperor and there would be hell to pay.

Quercus knew it was not smart to mess with a senator’s daughter but crossing the emperor was far more grievous mistake. He chose the lesser of the two evils and had Rosetta taken into custody. She was outraged, of course, and huffily exclaimed “I am a senator’s daughter! If I chose to sell my body, there is nothing you can do about it!”

crux court 001.jpg

She chose the wrong argument with Quercus. He tried her for interfering with the free trade of Rome and boldly sentenced the senator’s daughter to be put to death nailed hanging naked from a cross. As the courts attendant stripped her of her garments, she boldly said “You wait till my father finds out about this!”

crux court 006 A.jpg

Little did she know Quercus had already notified the senator and had his blessing to do as he wished with his daughter!

Even as Thekla tired, the cross still held her breasts up as if she was enjoying her time crucified.
That's indeed a very entertaining aspect of female crucifixion!

Powerful father or not, wayward daughters always end up on a cross, here on CF! ;)
