And of course today is my birthday.....thanks for all the best wishes! Today is also Trafalgar day when Nelson sank umpteen French and Spanish warships without losing one of his own. He did get shot however which ruined his day but the French Commander did attend his funeral. They were sporting in those days. I think Nelson used some tactic employing a theory of least squares to overcome superior odds but I will have to look that up.

Daylight saving time ended here today. I am curious- do my friends around the world use this time shift???
we, in Europe used the last octobre-sunday for that also last week

But yes we do as Admi says...I think it was George Bush junior who decided that Americans all needed more daylight saving time...apparently he did not think you all worked hard enough
In Russia a few years ago we abolished the transition to daylight saving time.
