He did get shot however which ruined his day but the French Commander did attend his funeral. They were sporting in those days. I think Nelson used some tactic employing a theory of least squares to overcome superior odds but I will have to look that up.

But yes we do as Admi says...I think it was George Bush junior who decided that Americans all needed more daylight saving time...apparently he did not think you all worked hard enough :p
 
Australia and New Zealand shift their clocks the opposite way to us in the northern hemisphere, of course,
but not at quite the same date as we do it (nor even, I think, the same as each other).
Dunno about countries in Africa and Latin America, north or south of the line.
