I am wondering why do your recent ones have a blue-ish background?

Just because they were taken by camera and not scanned. In a daylight they often are slightly yellow, and in the artificial light they can be brown or blue depending on the light source in the particular room.

I think some cameras allow you to set the whiteness according to the nature of the light source. I guess I prefer the "warmer" background color, but as long as you keep drawing and posting we'll all be happy.
