This weekend; Eulalia needs to secure the linkies. Wragg needs to move the contents of the Cruxton Abby dungeon - along with the slaves - to upper stories. RR and his family should seek higher ground. And Messi needs to cover the Fine French wood to keep it dry. Hurricane Kirk is coming and a Cat 4 should not be taken lightly; take it from someone who has experience.

I'd need a NYT sub to discover what I'm supposed to do in Edinburgh. :D It is a good city, lots of fine places and fun things too (though perhaps more of those in Glasgow) - I like it as it's a manageable size, most of the main attractions are within a mile or so from the centre (including the ones along the Royal Mile). But I'm not really a city girl, I wouldn't want to live there.

I don't know that - but the Royal Yacht Britannia in Leith Harbour, which I suppose was a kind of floating hotel, is well worth a visit. A beautiful ship, surprising in some ways - the royal accommodation is quite simple, sort of middle-class furnishings of the post-war years. What fascinated me most was, in a display case, the briefing notes for a royal picnic on one of the Summer Isles - the site had been reconnoitred in utmost detail, all possible risks of disturbance covered, even suggested places for the juvenile royals to play, maybe even where to walk the corgis - planned as meticulously as the D-Day landings!

'Ocean Mist' sounds right for Barb - they have 'bespoke tutored tasting evenings' :copas:
But perhaps 'Oh shit - missed!' would be nearer the mark if she gets her hands on the wheel.

Hi I'm not sure if this is right place to post this but I see there's lots of Members on here in US and just to stay safe and well over next few days with the storm.
If this is the wrong place I'm a noviciate and The Mother Superior has her whip in the top drawer on the left.

Yes, very much the right place - and the warnings we're hearing about do sound serious. Stay safe, all Crux friends (or, if you have to, don't stay but go to safety!)

Yay I did something right! I hope xx oops
Is there a dress code in here? Never been in a coffee shop like here.
Your noviciate smock will be fine, mother superior will give you the reward you seek for penance :azote::azote:

Just join Miss loinclothslave, who’s a penitent slave, at the whipping post for your reward…

This one volunteers for greater penance in hopes of easing the souls of our American friends.

Sincerely, Godspeed to you all!
