Burned at the stake

Good time. At my request, the master painted another picture, which depicts what, in his opinion, burning over low heat might look like.
One bonfire depicts 3 convicted women. I'm not sure that this could happen in reality. But this is the author’s idea, and I cannot object to anything here.

One of the women is strictly fixed at the post and cannot move. She is completely subordinate to the will of the flame burning her and the wind blowing her.
The second woman is chained more freely and can move within a limited range. Thus, to some extent, she is free to move away from the growing fire.

The third woman is chained so that she can move freely around the fire, and thus stay away from the strongest fire. However, she cannot completely avoid the burning sensation, and she is on low heat.

The fire is built in such a way that there is no brushwood in it. This causes the fire to burn slowly, increasing the suffering of the condemned.

The background is the landscape of my hometown. This is the fortress of the city of Pskov. The tower is called "Dovmont Tower". In reality, such events did not occur here. However, the author found the landscape suitable. The sky was also photographed by the master.

Coordinates on the map of the place that served as the background for the picture:
( 57.82095956990819, 28.328704457543868 ).
P.S. (All details of the image were either made by the master or taken from open sources on the Internet.)

Oh what a perfect image of a slow burning. This one’s Master often speaks of slow burning especially whenever this slave gets too excited and wants to discuss slave execution! it once complained that BATS was too fast compared to other slave-deaths like crucifixion … HE explained how it could take much longer with slow burning! HE’s such a kind master to direct this slave away from the cruel nails and towards the pyre!

I am posting on the site another work of the master, which he did on his own initiative. I didn't even ask him. He said that there was some photographic material that could be used to create another painting on this topic. The image is made in a format that allows you to use it as a screensaver on your computer desktop. All images used in the painting are taken from open sources on the Internet and the master’s personal archive.

I present another work by the master on the topic BATS. The work was done on his personal initiative. In this image, the Master has placed a scene of burning at the stake in the center of Prague. Why? Don't know. He says he wanted it that way. Let it be as he sees fit.
All details of the image were either made by the Master or taken from open sources on the Internet.

Another work of the master, which he did at my request. The location is fictitious, the time is evening. There are two types of burning in the picture. Over high heat and over low heat. The first fire has a lot of kindling material in the form of brushwood, which immediately produces a rich flame. The second fire is made primarily of thick wood and burns more slowly. Therefore, he burns the body of a woman sentenced to execution, only on the left side.
The format of the picture allows you to use it as wallpaper for your computer desktop.

A modern setting, I love it.

I can't think of a worse fate. I'd rather be crucified. But those Romans might set you on fire as well. Is chivalry dead, or would it only be me?
Crucifixions did not usually last for hours, as is reported for Jesus, but depending on the weather conditions and the constitution, the extremely painful death lasted for days! Extreme pain in every position of the body, complete immobility of the hands and feet, cramps and despair...
Burning at the stake is of course also associated with panic and terrible pain, but most victims quickly suffocated in the flames - depending on the wind and the nature of the wood. After about 15 to 30 minutes, unconsciousness and then death occurred. I think the crucifixions were even more cruel!
