There’s even something called “an ejector crab” which is when the oar catapults the rower out of the boat. Luckily these slaves are all chained in place, they’re not going to get catapulted

These two images appear to be from the same collection. The one I uploaded now is either a prequel to the one above (the girls just got their ship sunk and they are captured by their mistress) or a sequel (the galley sunk and now the mistress is trying to drag her possessions on the shore).

On the roster of the many punishments the slave drivers could administer to the naked prisoners oaring the galley was keelhauling. Valeria who was chained up with two other women on bench XV had only been on the vessel for a few weeks and was still being broken in to the drudgery of rowing.
Ahead of schedule, the captain decided to take the opportunity to instill a little discipline into his slave crew. On the captain’s orders, the slave drivers unchained all of the women and drove them up on deck. Of the 40 galley slaves, 20 were lined up on the port side and the other 20 on the starboard side. The captain chose the buxom Spanish slave girl Valeria to use as his example. He walked over to the heavy breasted girl and grabbed her right boob telling his men “We’ll use this slut.”
The two slave drivers easily subdued the screaming Valeria and tied her up securely with stout ropes. All the galley slaves gasped in horror as the men tossed Valeria over the port side. She was pulled under the galley and up on the starboard side. They repeated this torture two more times, then leaving Valeria heaving and choking on deck, flopping around like a fish.
“You see whores,” the captain said to the terrified slave girls, “this is what you’ll get if you disobey, slack off or don’t row hard.” He then ordered his men to take the slave girls back to their benches and chain them up. A trembling Valeria was returned to bench XV, chained up with her two other bench mates.
The slave drivers complimented the captain for putting on a great show and cracked their long leather whips in readiness for the rowing to begin again.

The female slave driver slashed Katja’s broad back with a three-tongued leather whip. Seeing the island in the distance, makes me think this particular galley slave used to toil in a penal colony. Seeing this ship, she was certain it will be a pathway to freedom. After just a few hours of rowing in chains, she realized she ended up in a worse place.

The one posted by @ducon007 has to be the original. I've seen it a couple of years ago on the web. I'm also pretty sure that it was posted in this thread before, a long time ago. The one I've posted I've stumbled upon only a couple of weeks ago, on Deviantart, and I didn't see it before. in fact, I can't seem to find it anymore.
Indeed, the thought crossed my mind, that the artwork above might've served as an inspiration for this one. Personally, I'd say the one posted by ducon007 is the better artwork, but I also do notice some differences between the two. In the first artwork, the overseer seems more imposing, and the slave girl's hair is better kept, while in the second one, the slave girl seems to suffer more. Also, the overseer is only wearing a gaff, that covers his seemingly very small genitals. It might hint at some vague idea that he is covering his insecurities by making the female slave suffer. Or, perhaps, that he isn't turned on by her naked body, and he's simply performing his job, with no sexual interest.
