And all the roads around the Beth Lehem were full of people and all the Roman soldiers and the Herod's security guards were vigilant and busy, and they succeed to arrest many criminals, runaways and robbers, which were instantly crucified by them due to the lack of time and shortage of people to guard the arrested ones.
And together with the arrested runaways there was Silvia, a young and handsome maid, who was not a slave herself but she was not able to confirm her identity, so the soldiers crucified her as well to avoid further problems.
And it was late evening when Joseph and Mary passed by, and Silvia's weeping attracted their attention and they realised that one of the crucified was a young girl, and though they didn't say anything, Mary looked at the dying girl with all the love and compassion. And this was the only compassionate gaze Silvia ever experienced during her dying on the cross and it really made her twelve hours long agony slightly easier to went thru...
